American Gangster is truly a film that the world has been lacking in recent years. I know the whole coke, drug, heroin, rise to the top thing has been done before but this is done in such a classy way. Unlinke there awesomely bad 1995 film virtuosity, instead of being in the future, there in the 70's this time.(Just making a time refrence and how they have previously worked togther virtuosity has nothing to do with american gangster.) This film was very will written, is the perfect length has some very good acting, and is very engaging, It's also very real. From start to finish your always almost on the edge of your seat, i felt you could sort of predict what was going to happen. But There's not much to say about american gangster except that it's great, go see it! RIGHT NOW!

Batman Begins is an appropriate title for the rebirth of the batman series. In my opinion the Tim Burton film's were really a homage to batman, not a real batman movie. But Nolan has finally decided to follow the roots, of the graphic novels. I'm a huge batman fan and seeing how the final Batman & Robin film completely did the name injustice, I was ecstatic to hear that a new one was coming out. The film follows the complete noir style of the graphic novels, it's truly a dark and twisted tale, and seeing how it's only getting darker with the release of the dark knight. I believe that the batman series has been revamped and rejuvenated and finally is true to it's origins.

Batman Begins is an appropriate title for the rebirth of the batman series. In my opinion the Tim Burton film's were really a homage to batman, not a real batman movie. The 1988 animated film Akira, I believe was groundbreaking for Japanese animators. Seeing that American cartoons are whole hearted family fun fest, Japaneses animators truly have something better than anything any American animator has ever done....

The 1988 animated film Akira, I believe was groundbreaking for Japanese animators. Seeing that American cartoons are whole hearted family fun fest, Japaneses animators truly have something better than anything any American animator has ever done. Set in a post world war III society motorcycle gangs rule the streets. One night while a I guess a rebel group, not entirely sure what to call them, break out a child test subject from a government facility and the motorcycle gang, the rebel group and the government all intertwine with one another. The writing is incredible for the time it came out and it has such an amazing story line and great animation, It's good that Katsuhiro Ôtomo didn't sell it off as a series as well because sometimes series based off movies don't work as well. The music is also great, the action is great, I mean there isn't much more to say about it, I wouldn't call it a timeless classic, but it definitely had raised the bar for what anime should be. So as home simpson would say, since film spot does it by 5 stars i'll act the 4.5 as 9 thumbs up... So go watch it.
