Hopefully after I add this one the more recent stuff will be added too! (Or maybe not?) After plugging and unplugging cables and boxes for several days, we figured out that adapter cable box was defective at the input connector. Apparently quite a few folks were in the same boat with upgrading their cables to digital. They just take the box and give you another refurbished one.

I did get to see the Doctor Who special, though with tons of commercials since it's the premiere, and enough of Torchwood as to not get spoiled. It does makes me wonder what will be the next hot show coming from there. Will that Being Human vampire/werewolf thingy satisfy?

I'm not a big fan of the word "refurbished"...why don't companies call such items used or previously owned?...same thing.....good to see the blogs mostly back and hopefully to stay..!

Let's hope they stay that way.

maritimer00 - It makes me wonder what a furbisher does and whether that'd make a better title than domestic engineer. angeldeb82 - yeah, I kind of figured the in-between blogs would disappear on me. That's sad.

I had the same feeling that any new blogs would pass into the unknown so I just waited for the blog problem was fixed. I watched Being Human and I liked it. There is no way it's going to take the place of Torchwood. I've had to change out my cable box 3 times before I got one that worked right. Ya got to love Comcast.

About freakin' time!

...and the most recent ones "gone". And each time they restored the old blogs, somehow the display of special characters on guides has been affected. Whole guides like Renee Zelwegger, Penelope Cruz, and others with accented e's on their names aren't accessible anymore.

there is a very small chance that this is just a collective delusion and the blogs are, in fact, still missing.

Yeah, I am so glad about the blogs being back, finally! Have a nice day!

Hi Angus_Mac, My three newest blogs disappeared after the older ones were brought back to life here. Neverending isn't it? I agree with Maritimer, not a big fan of refurbished mechanical things. (Yes many bad experiences, my hubby never learns!)

Glad it's working, we had an Amstrad box which was just awful, had to be replaced twice!

Well it is nice to see the blogs are back in action again. With the new SF show Being Human on BBC America, I don't think it going to have the same of reaction that Torchwood, and Primeval had.

So that's what happened! I had no idea why so much of my blog just disappeared and then reappeared the other day.

Hey I finally decided to come back! I must have missed this blog glitch, I don't think I even viewed or looked around the forums at all since the beginning of June this year. I know, I've really been sidetracked doing other things I love. That whole cable mystery must have been a huge relief to figure out! I don't like it when too many advertisments in between shows appear on my tv screen.

Glad the blogs are back. Vampire/werewolf's are popular right now.
