So I heard this rumour going about (check GamePolitics) that Jack Thompson aka "the violence specialist" is taking a beef with Take-Two over there soon to be released (unless your Toys-R-Us) game Bioshock.
Apparently his beef is that you kill little demonic girls in it called "little sisters".
Anyone else think this man should maybe have something better to do with his time ? Like maybe he should move on and do something constructive rather than try and kill off all the good games that the industry puts out. Guys an eejit. ESPECIALLY if this rumour is true.
I really do hope a 1000 flamingos crap on his porch.

Yeah i remember he tried to take down Penny Arcade as well because the pulled him up on some donation or something he was supposed to make if they made a game that met his criteria, which someone did and he didn't pay out.

they made a $10,000 to some charity and put his name on the check. it was a pretty funny and expensive prank!

Why cant the guy just learn! There are books way more violent and misleading than videogames! I dont know why he seems to hate them so much. Personally, I think he gets angry at the fact that other people are having fun and it annoys him cuz he cant relate! Who's with me on this!?

seriously, i hate that guy. i was actually in an anti-jack thompson union (actually, i think i'm still an officer there). at the penny arcade expo (game show) last year, the host called up jack's cell in an auditorium with over 5,000 gamers in it, and we all left a huge collective "**** you!" on his voice mail. the guy's such a tool, but the more we get pissed at him, the more it makes his point look valid. he's trying to be a martyr.
