Whilst I wasn't allowed to touch the actual electrics my job was to chase the wiring and plug sockets. After consulting my DIY bible at home I was sure this was an easy job. After all how hard can it be? A sentence now resonating in my head
. Now on paper going through a brick wall is easy esp. If it's a new build house (as the book showed). The problems though stemmed from my house being old, a Victorian terrace house to be exact. My first probing drill hole amounted to nothing more than a small dent in the brick. After say a few minutes of choice, colourful language, sweat and tears I came to the conclusion that my drill wasn't up to it. After a chat with a rather knowledgeable guy at B&Q and a few sharp intakes of breath as I spoke about my problem to him he directed me to a SDS drill. This for the uninitiated is a mother of a drill. Think of a hydraulic drill used to take up roads this is a kind of hand held version... the wall was owned and my only difficulty was to stop it before I went through next door LOL
I had to resort to living in a small bedroom with no carpet and with the walls stripped... not the most glamorous of locations for sure but I had my 360 with me so all was well esp with the new arrival of Fable to my household. What a game it is!!! I have since spent some quality time with it and well between slaving away as a blacksmith and starting my economic empire I have been finding time to amuse small children with my sock puppet routine LOL It's a great game though it is terrifically hard trying to be good when tills stuffed full of cash are left unattended at night and there is constant temptation to put up the rent and be a philandering terror to the female population. But so far I have come out untouched by the evil hand though time will tell if this holds for the rest of the game ![]()
And lastly great news on this Monday morning I have just received an email form PLAY telling me that my copy of LBP has arrived. This will hopefully justify my PS3 purchase now if only I can remember where I packed it last week
