Last year in high-school, and I think most of the cIasses have been sorted out now.

***SPOILER***

...

I wish there was a music program at my school.

I'm probably going to start being active again, though I don't know how long that'll last..

I use to think Physics was hard... until I got to college

Good luck on your last year of high school!

You have a lot of classes. I just take the same 8 classes the whole year.

I'm taking Pre-Calc too, took an intro physics class freshman year.

You have some very unique classes I've never heard of.

Maybe my highschool is behind the times or something >_>

Education really differs a lot from region to region and country to country. Your schedule seems so foreign to me, which is surprising because I'm sure my classes and schedule are pretty self explanatory. It's probably just the naming. I also have no clue what those numbers are - the likely possibility is credits, but that seems like way too many for just one year. *shrugs*

Also, we used trimesters all the way up until high school, and then switched to a 4-quarter system (first 2 quarters = 1st semester, last 2 quarters = 2nd semester). We have an A-day B-day schedule, 4 blocks per day, 90 minutes per block. With the exception of 3 AP Sciences (Bio, Chem, and Physics C, which meet every day), each class meets every other day. Some classes might be for only one out of the two semesters. It's pretty simple stuff conceptually, and I find that most other systems are at least a little more complicated.

I really don't know what the purpose of this post is, so don't ask me - I'm pretty much just writing whatever comes to mind concerning your blog.

Chaos:

q: I'm pretty sure I know what you're talking about.

Symphony: It could happen.

Serbine: It'll take more skill than luck!

gg: I think I got like 100% final score for my grade 11 physics.

Vidplayer: Yeah.. some of those cIasses I don't expect to be of much use in the future either though..

Hazel: Yeah, that's it exactly. >_>

Abdel: Here's a break-down of what the numbers mean:

10 = Grade 9
20 = Grade 10
30 = Grade 11
40 = Grade 12

Good Luck with school.

Have fun with Pre-Cal M-word!

2nd trimester sounds like a blast to me... btw, I'm also with hazel, trimesters suck, but I guess you have like 3 vacation periods, uh?? that rules.

God....That sounds so Complicated.....and I'm sure we are on the same grade...

American schedules are very different than the Portuguese ones. I will only assist Maths this year, hehe!

I'm in my last year as well. (Though I'm in the EU so the class layout etc. are all completely different.) Good luck.

We're going to need it.

hope you have a good year, and that your classes aren't too hard.

Laguna: I'm definitely going to need it.

Flame: It is here.

Vyse: It wasn't too hard last time I was in the cIass.

Green: The breaks aren't all that long though.

Roger: I'm going to be hurting my head-muscle.

Overdose: I'm not sure but I think Canadian schedules are also very different from American ones, after how Abdel described his.

Endless: This is a year of challenges! We must make it a year of triumphs!

Honey: I actually hope that they give me a good challenge.

Seems like a pretty nice schedule.
Posted Sep 18, 2008 4:41 pm PT
Fangs, I got the same type of schedule as abdel, at least partially.
4 classes for the first semester, 72 minutes each. 4 classes for the second semester. Day 1 and 2 system.

Pre calc in your final year?? Wish I had gone to an American high school for my last year...they probably would have said I was a genius. Gr.12 calculus in Canada will get you through first year Engineering calc in university hahaha.
