Okay, so I've decided to post the scene information for music played on The O.C. here in my blog since I'm watching it over from the beginning. I've collected the soundtracks as they were released and tried to keep up on the music, but there isn't a whole lot of accurate information out there on the web for scenes. This is where my slight ocd compulsions kick in - organising my music. I like to put the episode title in my "comment" section on iTunes. And I like to put the scene information in the lyrics section above the lyrics. It's handy and I like having the information. So I'm going to try to share all of it here on my blog since song information can sometimes be hard to find - scene information goes a long way, in my opinion. I describe scenes when I post in forums and on boards around the web when I'm looking for a certain song and it sure has helped me a lot!

So here are 3 episodes with scene information.
(if a song has been used in a sequence, I have tried to be descriptive in it's entirety and the scene changes are marked with a slash like this "/". If a song has been used at least twice in the episode at different times with different scenes, I've numbered the scenes in the description area.)

In fact, I found it nowhere but through my hard work. I have sites bookmarked (including tv.com) where I look to see if a song is posted that I hear and want on an episode. If it is, I usually leave a comment and tell them thank you for helping us figure out the music. If the music isn't posted at the sites I use in my searches, I do all the looking myself for the songs I hear and want from an episode of a show I watch.

I watched this episode as usual, heard the songs, went to search them out to get them and through my persistence I found that one. Here is the website. My posting this information to this site is how and where it will be found for others looking for the music in this episode. I know for a fact it doesn't have to be posted on another site somewhere for me to contribute to this site. If I have knowledge that I can contribute, I do. But here is someone asking me to post a url of another site where I might have (but did in fact NOT) get the information when I tried to contribute information on a show I watch.

I listened to the lyrics. I rewound over and over again. I did my searching. I found it.
