So a few nights ago I was on the computer in the living room and my mom was watching tv. My dad was watching tv in my room. Both cats were with an adult. I heard a thunk and thought it was my dad doing something.
He asked if one of us had knocked something off. My mom went back into my room to see and asked me where I had my statue of Mary. I had bought this staute of the Blessed Mary at a garage sale. It made me feel ike I had some ties to my baptized religion. I had it on a shelf on the wall by the door. When I went to my room to see what she was talking about, she said it was across the room on the floor. So I put it back on the shelf and jumped around for about 20 seconds trying to make it fall off, which it eventually did. But it hit my dresser first and fell right in front of the dresser.
So it had to have been knocked off. It couldn't have just fallen off.
Then my dork of a mother decided to start yelling (yes, yelling) asking if anyone was here, mainly my grandfathers. I had to tell her that their dead, not deaf. I doubt they're in their ghostly forms going "Eh?" and cupping their hand around their ear to hear better. I heard my dad laughing from their bedroom so I had to tell him that he chose to marry her. He can't blame it on the pain killers he was jacked up on at the time since he hurt his back.
Stuff like this has happened to me before. We had a picture of our family taken back when we were on vacation and we didn't have a frame for it yet so it was leaning against another frame. I was on the computer and it flew off the shelf and somehow turned against the angle it was at to face the other direction to hit me in the hand. Wait does that make any sense? It was facing one way but fell another. That should be better.
So back to normal life.
So I saw Paranormal Activity. Don't go see it if you watch horror movies on a frequent basis. Didn't do much for me as I thought/hoped/everyone said it would. Sigh, I am never trusting reviews again.
Halloween is tomorrow. I was going to be Dorothy but I had no money to buy the shoes for it. So I am now a pirate. Basically, I'm going to look like a chore with a w.
But I am employed now. I started yesterday. So here's to finally making money again!
That's all, I'll post some pictures from halloween after the weekend.
So I haven't blogged on here in a while.
I've been writing a lot. I found a new site, Mibba.com and been writing a lot of fan fiction. Go ahead and make fun of me. It keeps me out of trouble. I've also had my sleeping schedule all screwed up too. I've been going to bed when the sun comes up. The latest I got up was around 6:30pm yesterday. I decided it was time for a change so I took a Tylenol PM last night to get me to sleep early. I went to bed a little after 2am so success!
Thanks to a friend I've been catching up on BSG. I have one episode left in season 3 and I'm eager to find out who the final 5 is. I can't believe what's all going on right now. Crazy stuff, crazy.
I saw Sorority Row recently. It had some pretty sweet death scenes and was funny, but overall it was an okay movie. Glad I went to the dollar theater and didn't pay more money for it.

So Supernatural was awesome, as usual. Bobby being possessed and what he says to Sam about losing his number was great acting on both their parts. You could read the emotion on Jared's face. I've personally become a big fan of Jim Beaver over the course of the show and can't believe he's not a star on the show yet. Don't get me wrong, I love Misha (I'm a minion) but Jim's put way more time into this show and is the father figure for the boys. When Bobby was possessed, it was great. Seeing him holding the knife over Dean and then as Dean's about to cry (it seems like) he knocks back into Bobby mode and almost sacrificies himself to stop him from killing Dean.
The next episode was even better. Watching Sam struggle with the blood after he killed those kids (was I the only one who noticed that the knife didn't do that weird spark of electricity thing it does when it kills demons, totally a clue). He wanted to taste it, to see if he could get that old strength back. So that's why he leaves at the end of the episode. He knows Dean and Bobby don't really trust him and he can't trust himself. Seeing Jo and Ellen was great! I hope they come back for later episodes. I hate the minimum screen time that Alona got. I thought we were going to see some red hot angst between her and Dean. But having Ellen back as the mom figure was great too. Seeing her throw the holy water in Dean's face, made me laugh, especially when she went off on the rant about them not calling her.
As for Vampire Diaries, I'm gonna give it some time but it hasn't totally snagged my attention just yet. Paul Wesley is pretty smoking hot though. I missed a lot of last night's episode because I decided to eat dinner and I wanted grilled cheese and so did my madre. Of course, my cooking never comes without a fail! moment. I dropped one of my two grilled cheeses on the ground. ![]()
I haven't gotten into the phenom that is Glee just yet, but it's on my list. And oh what a long list that is. I still have to finish up NCIS before it premieres on Tuesday. I fell behind last season.
Now for work.
Yesterday I was fired from my job.
It was because of "insubordination" because I used my cell phone a lot during work after my boss told me not to. Strange thing is, I got ALL my work done and sometimes more. My boss on the otherhand, not so much. There have been times where I had to leave early or was ill so he had to finish the calls for people to remind people about their payments and he didn't do it. He's been written up at least twice about stuff and yet I never get written up and am immediatly fired. He's talked crap about my DM, doesn't do his job (I did collections this week and last and many haven't been touched in a week and that's HIS main job). When the RM and I had a phone chat about my cell phone usage, I brought up how I called the DM about what he was doing. The RM told me to stop tattling on him. I kept my cool but I was ready to strangle him through the phone.
My boss also wrote a three page letter about my DM to my RM saying she gave me special treatment because me and her daughter are friends. Well for one thing, if she gave me special treatment, I would've never traveled to work at another center EVER (which I've done over 20 times). Just because Alicia and I are friends (and Alicia sought me out) doesn't mean anything. So they're supposed to have a sit down meeting (RM, DM, and my boss) about all this drama. I can't wait to hear about it.
*Insert Evil Grin and Laughter*
So I've been applying like crazy to jobs, mostly teller jobs because I have cash handling experience. So keep your fingers crossed that I get a job and get one soon!
