So, I got a new laptop.

I had (before) an HP DV8315NR model with the following specs:

AMD 1.8ghz single core

2gb of ram

ATI Xpress 200M with 128mb of dedicated video ram/256mb of shared video ram

230 gb hard drive

---------------

Now, I have a Dell Studio 1535 with the following specs

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2ghz (dual core)

3gb of ram

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 with 256 dedicated video ram/1.5gb of shared video ram

250gb hard drive

webcam/microphone

finger print reader

total price? 297

(JAM)

That's what I'm playing Wolverine with. I also threw on Fallout 3, and have had a bit of fun. I installed the Operation Anchorage DLC, and when I left the vault, I booked it over there, getting into Anchorage around level 3. When I finished, I was around level 7. I liked the look (snow), and....that was about it. Was very glitchy (one guy with me was stuck, and wouldn't move), felt really boring, etc. It reaffirmed my belief that Fallout 3 is not a goddamn shooter, and is an rpg. If you play Fallout 3 like an FPS, you need to be smacked.

Also got Team Fortress 2, and Audiosurf. I want to play WoW, but have no money.

I'm gonna try Just Cause next, to see if it's good or not. But, people, please, recommend some good PC games. I wanna play some stuff now that I have a PC that can do it.

Unreal Tournament 3 will look pretty sweet on your new machine

Too bad Unreal Tournament 2007 is awful. I'll stick with original UT, and possibly UT2004.
