You can turn everything into an MMO
It seems like you can turn every licensed series or product into an MMO. There is news of a lot of MMO's coming out that just seem to much of a Drug addicted cash cow for fans of anything to get their fan service nerdgasms on.
Copyright materials are doing this because it either seems like the popular thing to or the story just practically fits into an MMO theme.
I am writing this because i was reading kotaku a few weeks ago and they found out some fanboys (or should i rather call them fangirls?) were creating an MMO based on Twilight. To Be honest, I am in no way a fan of this series. I am just pointing out that anything and I mean anything, no matter how rediculous it is, can be turned into an MMO. You can even turn Real life into an MMO like the Sims online or Second life,
I've been looking into a few MMO games that are coming out and heres what i found:
Star Trek Online
you must just us ensign.... RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!
Marvel Universe Online
Cool I can join Captain America on quests and force feed meatloaf to vegetarians with Deadpool along with stealing people's pancreas'
DC Universe Online
"Hey Batman, I hear Batgirl's into chicks, is this true? oh man giggty giggty that would be awesome if it were."
Star Wars: the Old Republic
I Wonder if Han Solo ever kicked anyone in the nuts and shot them in the face at the same time
Firefly Online

If this happens, Don't worry about fox cancellations
Buffy the vampire slayer Online

a sexual paradise of RPing hot chick toons kiling non sparkling vampires.... um ok
There's a lot of money to be spent on these MMOs because theres a deep enriching story in each of these franchises. The real question is though is "Are these going to deliver fan service to their fanbases? or are they going to cash cow drug pushers? MMOs in General usually capitalize on fanbbase and money because it usually is the popular thing to do nowawadays. MMO games are coming out of the woodwork because of this simple fact.
If theres a franchise with a good story. you can bet your sweet life an MMO will be in tow to provide fan service and take your money.
