Well, like TheBlueBlur said before deleting the board, every good thing must come to an end, and this was the case with The Mullet Union. After some attempts to bring order and everything back together, it all failed and the choice to delete the whole board was inevitable. I will miss some of the people there, most of them were upstanding posters and I will hopefully encounter them throughout the site.
The legacy started in 02/24/04, when -Dante decided to make a UCB. He called it "Mullet Union", and the board consisted of a nice selected crowd, and constant fights started to be present. Puer2rican then came with the idea to move tha board to his possession, and get a name change. It was called Members Only Union, and it became the second biggest board on the site very quickly, a strong board indeed, but constant flame wars awakened among members, and everything was turning chaotic. UCB wars were common, specially with the Spam Union and my home board, n00b Free Union. Invasions were produced, and much more serious stuff. The board was turned private because of all this, and everything started going downhill...
On September 2004, puer2rican resigned the spot, and yet a new administrator came for the board, the one choose was Ultimate_Entity. Everything was back up again, and the one year anniversary came. It has been much more than a year of the board, but everything must indeed end.
The Mullet Union has always been a place of flames and arguments, but everything erupted much too far, almost the complete board was against The Bulldozer and constant flame wars where in the order of the day. There was no possible way of calming the flames down, and more fights and conflicts were born. This had been happening for several weeks now, and yesterday was the climax of it. TheBlueBlur got fed of it, and announced that the board was getting deleted today. Everyone wasn't surprised, and I even offered myself to be the admin of the board with my spare Complete UCB, but it was worthless. Even the members said it was time for the monster to die, and it was a good decision in my opinion. The board just got deleted, and there is nothing that could be done.

Yeah, I was never a member either. I think I looked around in it when it was public for a while, but it didn't really appeal to me.

It wasn't for me either at the beggining, but making it private was much better for the board in the few weeks.

Yeah i checked out the Mullet Union too a couplpe months ago. Looked like an alright Union. Too bad it didn't last long. I was planning on joining another board or union.

I wish I would have joined. I heard about you guys. It's just that the whole "mullet" thing turned me off.
