It's definitely the truth, I don't know if i'm the one with ****** up tastes or the movies aren't just as pleasing as before. The last two good movies I saw where Cinderella Man and Sin City, those are two quality type movies. After that, I'm still going to the theatre, but just to try to find something good and two hours later find that I had waste my time with it. I remember the times when I enjoyed the movies because they where actually good, and not despise and getting bored of going to the movies because of the actual crap they are filming.
After going to the movies for Sin City and Cinderella Man, I visited it for a couple more movies, and everything was the same. War of the Worlds had an amazing beginning, but the incoherent end (about the last hour of the movie or so) definitely killed the greatness it showed at the beginning. Fantastic Four was all around stupid, I never was actually interested in the movie at all. Batman Begins really wasn't that much bad at all, but it had no trama, and the acting was pointless and badly elaborated. Mr. and Mrs. Smith was terrible, I don't like action movies with comedy tendencies, and this one appears to have failed miserably, at least in my personal opinion. Madagascar was....adorable.
I think it honestly has been the best movie I have seen recently, no kidding, even if it was just like an hour and fifteen minutes. Boogieman was possibly the most stupid and pointless movie I have ever seen, it was another one that didn't interest me at all after the first twenty minutes of the movie. Oh crap. The Devil's Reject was much better than Rob Zombie's past movie, but it wasn't much of a big deal. No horror, at least for me. The Island was mediocre, no actual plot and bad actor guides.
Yesterday, I had a pleasant surprise of finding that House of Wax was still in the theatre here in Manhattan, so I told my girlfriend, "Let's give it a shot.". It had Paris Hilton, one of my favorite celebrities, so why should it be mediocre as the rest of the movies I saw before? Well it was terrible, it wasn't scary at all, but it was sure disgusting. The amount of blood and body part chopping and removing was exaggerated, and didn't seem real at all for someone to come with a machete and chop one of your cheeks of.
It had no plot, bad acting from all the characters, including Paris, which I imagined was going to be giving an image of a naughty girl even after the porn movie. At least she was semi naked, but what would I want to see from Paris Hilton after all?

Well, that was my short resume of what I basically did all the evening yesterday. Comments?

Eh... I thought Batman Begins was good. I'd consider that to be the last good movie I watched in theaters. Since then, I haven't gone much, because it does seem like there has been nothing but crap at the movies lately.

The thing I particularly think that killed Batman Begins where the actors. They seemed like rookies out there in some of the scenes, and I personally didn't like that. There is no better than the original Batman though...

I haven't seen the original Batman in a long, long time. I think I'll give it a rent next time I'm at the video store.

Sure! I hope they don't remake it in another kind of way, because that will totally ruin the series.

Too long?...I've read 2000 page books in under 2 months, his entries are nothing.

Yeah I know, compared to the entries I made with my past account this is just like half a paragraph.

Speaking of long books, I have to read War and Peace by the end of the month. 1,400 pages.

Not too hard a book to read.

I am lazy and I hate reading, but because you asked nicely I'll give it a try

Hmmm.. War of the World did have a crappy ending. And Madagascar was meh, I expected a lot more from it. The one thing I really like, and I really LMAO, were those Psycho Penguins
Anyway, The Island looks interesting, maybe give that a shot.

I'm also a lazy bastard, and I particularly don't like reading, or maybe it's perhaps I have no time for it during the school year. Luckily I didn't have to read anything for this year, I hate when they assign that, we are on vacations.
I remember reading War and Peace once, and I honestly enjoyed it, but read it in like a month.

I hate reading, and I'm a slow reader, I slow down fast after I start. Just too boring for me.
Only time I read books, are when I have to for school.
Only thing I like to read, is subtitles for games or movies

The only kind of subtitles I have ever seen for movies are the spanish ones from the latin channels.
