After a super long GameSpot hiatus, i'm back...finally.

It all started with me changing my Internet Service Provider. Greater speed...awesome page loading time and download kbps, but the router couldn't get to Gamespot. I tried everything I could possibly do on my own, but nothing changed. I gave the ISP a call today and they got it fixed! I'm back for real this time, I won't post as much as I did before but it's a beggining.

Wanting to create a metal band.

I need a drummer and a bass for a band i'm thinking of creating. Majorly going to play old Metallica stuff (Like Battery, Master Of Puppets), some Testament, Megadeth, and our main inspiration band should be...Yngwie Malmsteen. I love Yngwie, and the fact that he can play the guitar and bass in Malmsteen songs. I'm currently learning Black Star tabs, but of course, one guitar isn't enough to get it going. The tough thing is...there is just one person near me that can play guitar better than me, and two guitarists are a must. Getting a drummer won't be hard, since a lot of people kinda know how to play it well, and getting a bass should be as easy. For the vocals, I have no idea either.

Probably singing myself, but i'm too much of a poser rather than a singer on stage.

I also had an idea to go progressive and play some Dream Theater, but I don't really like the idea of the category. A friend also told me to play Cradle Of Filth since I like it so much, but the tabs are tad too easy to learn, and I don't have a black metal distortion pedal. I also got a suggestion of playing Slipknot...and...well....

RealNpCityG got banned.

It's really bad news, one of my best friends in the site has been perma-banned, and that's really something. It sucks, after all he has done for me and my board, seeing him banned gives away a bad feeling.

The day was yesterday, August 25, 2005. Apparently, he made a poll thread regarding two explicit sites on the web (

), and a moderator deleted the thread, suspended two out of the three people that posted there (Burnsy and -Hybrid-), and banned NP. I think it's a really unfair call, since no pics and links were available, and hence, it was more like..a normal poll. The point is, a moderator got it, or someone snitched on him/them.

I remember the old times with Burnsy, OG, NP, and myself, back in January-April of this year. Times where freespeech was a priority in my board, and we said what we had in our minds, played around, along some other things. Great times indeed, but everything changed that day...the day we got reset. Around ten people suffered the reset just by posting in a General Discussion thread considered as spam by an administrator. That day everything changed, people changed, rules changed, and no more of that fun was back in the crib. From those days, NP was probably the person who mostly enjoyed it while it lasted..always with a perverted comment to make us laugh...good old days indeed.

He helped me settle the board and get the first members back in December 2004, when The Coffee Cup had about a hundred posts, and was a great moderator for the place. We will miss you man, hopefully you will return to grace us with his smart ass posts and perverted remarks.
