know why I haven't had any interest in Gamespots forums lately... Here's a breakdown.

OTD: I can forgive the typical posts that pop up everyweek, the "What's your favorite FPS?", "Is halo over rated?" and topics like that. Every forum has their repeat topics that never die. Hoever there just seems to be an influx of faux reporters running around grabbing any bit of news from other sites and posting them up. I could care less about topics such as www.gamingdirtbags.com interviews the janitor of Ubisoft and all the fake industry analysts that pop up when the NPD figures come out.

Meh... Why can't we just talk about games anymore? Why is there this new race to see who can post the silliest news in record time? I still haven't seen Gamespot report the downloadable content for the 360 version of Marvel Ultimate Alliance (A playable version of the Hulk, Dr Doom and Venom is being reported) but you won't see me spamming the board with this just to get a silly emblem.

PC Forum:I have to admit that I never really fit in here. Most of the people that post there have Frankenstein Syndrome... Just because they can create a gaming computer, they think they are the ultimate gamers. You toss in the fact that some of them still use nerd speak and it almost makes me want to firebomb a D&D convention and see how the deaths there correlate with the lack of posters in PC after that event. They prance around the forums with their system specs in their sigs just like socker mom's have that bumper sticker saying that their a proud parent of whatever school's honor roll program.

Add to the fact that I think Crysis is going to be a beautifully average game just like Far Cry was, that I don't play the 40 different RTS's that come out each month and I don't think consoles "R 4 ReTarDz"... it really limits my posting options

Playstation 2, Gamecube and Xbox forums:My PS2 broke and the forum is full of anime fans anyways (Gamespot still hasn't made that button for me), I haven't touched a Gamecube game since Metroid Prime and the Xbox has been dead for over a year... No point in really posting there.

Xbox 360 forum: To keep up in this forum you must talk about what you want in Halo 3 and obsess after Tom Clancy games far past the usual time frame of when a tactical shooter is nothing more than shooting mexican clones over and over again. It also seems to have the most immature and non-critical thinking bunch of posters in the main forums. People in there believe that because they don't like a game, it automatically is worth nothing and aren't afraid to say how much they hate a game without any reasons why other than "It looks stoopid." Also all of the old XBL Arcade games from back in the day should be rated 9's or higher just because.

Wii and Playstation 3 forums:Well I don't have either so to talk about them would be like going to group therapy for a disease I don't have. Sure it would be fun to sit around a bunch of whack jobs and try to fool them into thinking I know what I'm talking about but I don't have the time for that.

Off Topic Forum:This is where wannabe internet commedians go to hear crickets. This has to be the most unfunniest place in the internet full of terrible jokes, nonsensical posts and psuedointellectual debates about War, Religion, Relationships by 14 year olds. If I had 30 seconds to live and wanted to cement in my dying brain that humanity is really worthless before I pass, I would go either here or System Wars.

There you have it folks, The reason I'm not around too much. That and Gamespot's spell checker worked for 3 days, now it tells me that every 's' in a word is a mistake.
