Well, it was (international) new year's eve last night, and me and my family celebrated by staying up until midnight. When we finally noted it was midnight (at 12 and 47 seconds! ), we watched the fireworks (courtesy of the local church and the local hotels) from our balcony until they stopped (or at least 'till they quieted down a bit ), to the relief of our dog (she was scared of them). A few moments later, we all went to sleep. So, that's about it. Happy (international) new year everyone!
