After a long month or so, I thought I might as well add a new post. I've switched up some games again. Still kind of on Last Chaos, so I don't play it seriously anymore, the weekends have exp events so I just wait until then really.

Infantry Online went free again but it still won't put up my favorite zone. No mans land is just boring to me, I'd much rather try to defend and capture stationary flags in Mech Skirmish yet they refuse to add it in. *sigh*

As for MMORPGs there is supposed to be alot coming out. Really annoying that everything always gets pushed back so much. MMORPGs are supposed to be for the summer months yet instead of releasing in may, it's already july and no sign of anything definitely coming out soon. *sigh* just more waiting.

While I'm waiting though, I thought I might as well try a few more games. I was thinking of playing Maple Story again or 9Dragons. Some games I'm trying out now include: Tales of Pirates, Hero Online and Mo Siang Online.

I've heard good things about all of them, but after playing a bit, can't really get much into them. The only one that somewhat interests me is Mo Siang Online. Although I don't like the graphical style and the community is kind of hard to follow(Malaysia server, the people seem to type strangely), the game mechanics itself seem kind of interesting. There doesn't seem to be classes, you just choose whatever weapon you want to use and you can add to your attacks by tapping a button. You can learn skills and you have to train to use them (kill monsters in an arena).

But all in all, I'm still not sure what I'm looking for in a free MMORPG. There are a few new games I'm kind of interested in but skeptical due to the mediocrity of the free MMORPG.

Games to look out for: Nostale, Perfect world and Dream of Mirror Online. Some games I don't know much about but who knows: Immortals and Zu Online.

As for Harvest Moon, I took the plunge and bought Magical Melody. So far my impressions are good. I tried the Ps2 games but they were horrible. Terrible framerate on Wonderful life and they totally messed up the formula in Save the Homeland. So it was nice to finally have a game that goes back to the basics and just add and enhances rather than takes away.

So that's enough of my mindless ranting for now...
