So it's been announced that Infantry Online is going to be free again! No more empty private servers, no more waiting(well...some waiting). On June 26th it's scheduled to finally go free once again. Along with Ragnarok Online, Infantry Online stands as one of my favorite online experiences. But I was not a fan of the popular CTF, but rather the less popular but maybe still a little popular Mechanized Skirmish. Although in truth, the vehicles kind of ruined the experience, the map was good. I like how everyone starts out with the same basic units and don't get upgraded because you rely more on skills. After the game went P2P, I stopped playing, but will always remember it. I hope everyone comes back to the game.
