Doesn't look too bad. Though knowing Sega and Sonic it probably will be.

@super_mario_128: Actually, Sega have been doing very good 2D Sonic games for the handhelds, like Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush. It's just the console games that have been atrocious. >_>

And this is a console 2D Sonic, isn't it? I'd like to see more than just a teaser before jumping to conclusions.

Eh... If Sega doesn't come up with a ridiculous, game-breaking gimmik, then its okay. But lets wait awhile before expectations go through the roof.

@enterawesome: Yeah, my main concern is that we'll end up with another Sonic Adventure 2 scenario where you spend more time playing as everyone else but Sonic. >_>
