A geography learning adventure that's way cool!

So, I've been spending the past 2 weeks watching my aunt's dog while she's been away on vacation.Things were going pretty okay, I think. The dog didn't die and I didn't step in any s***. However, there was a slight... oh, "incident" today that could be considered a minor setback.

A giant pterodactyl swept down from the sky and ate my homework! I swear! ...Okay, maybe that didn't happen. I wish it did, though

Anyway, since Courtney has pink eye, she can't exactly take care of Lexie right now. You know, that's kewl. I don't mind it at all! So I just loaded up Lexie into my car (what a pain in the ass)and off we went to see the doggie. Woo. Lexie seemed pretty interested in the dog. It's kewl now that she actually does stuff other than s*** and sleep. Anyway, I fed the dog, cleaned up his s*** ... and then came the big mistake. I went inside to get him a treat, and me an ICP, cuz I was thirsty. Of course, the Pepsi was buried WAY in the back of the fridge, so I set my phone and my keys on the counter and went digging. A few minutes later, I had my Pepsi and went out the door.

Two seconds later, I realized I didn't grab my phone. Two seconds after that, I realized I didn't grab my keys. And two seconds after THAT, I realized that I locked the door on my way out.... ... ... So. Yeah. I quickly covered Lexie's ears while I dropped a few 4 letter words.

My first thought was to try the neighbors. So Lexie and I went next door. Nobody was home. We tried another house. Nobody was home. Well, I think there was someone home, but they didn't bother to answer the door. I guess I looked looked all scary ... you know, standing there with my little girl. And for those of you who have seen me, you know I hardly look scary So we tried one more house, and this old granny opened the door. Along with her dog, Cerberus. (or was it a horse?) The dog made Lexie cry. Hell, that beast was so freaking big and intimidating, he almost made ME cry. So we left granny behind...I thought about trying a few other houses, but it was cool outside and I didn't want to drag Lexie all over the neighborhood. So we went back to my aunt's house.

And waited. Sooner or later, somebody somewhere had to realize we were missing! But after about 3 minutes I got tired of waiting so I started to wander around in the backyard... when I saw the dog was sitting on the couch inside the sun room! Eager to join him... ... ... ... I crawled through the doggy door. I was hoping that the sliding door that led inside the house was unlocked, but it wasn't. So me and Lexie were stuck in the sunroom. At least there was a TV. We watched Full House and CSI: and Gilmore Girls... before finally I stumbled upon Stargate Universe on Syfy. I had been wanting to see the new series, but never found the time.

Anyway, at some point during this ordeal, Courtney realized that I was MISSING! She called my phone about 40 times! I could hear it ringing inside the house. But I couldn't do anything about it except WAIT. So finally, 3 hours later, Courtney convinced my friend Alex to come look for Lexie and me. And the ordeal was over at last!

I still don't have my phone. Or my car keys I feel so lonely and cut off from the world! But, my aunt comes back tomorrow.... er... today... s*** I really need to go to bed... so anyway... I'll be reunited with my precious phone and keys soon!

And if you haven't already done so, go give Courtney some kind words! She has had a very sucky week and will appreciate the encouragement!

It's a good thing I didn't go to bed early last night or you would probably still be stuck there!

Gilmore Girls? I thought you would've watched My Little Pony instead.

And when I do get around to talking to you about SGU, we are NOT talking about hot chicks. No %$&&%^Y&$, I mean, no way.

Have you ever played the game? It's hilarious! As was this whole story. This made my morning even if it took me twelve hours to say so.

Hey, if you can't talk with twi about hot girls, I'm always available!

Hahaha, you locked yourself out? What kind of los- oh yeah, right. Anyways that really sucs dude, you should have taken the path of evil and broke down the door or something, but I don't think that would have suited well with your aunt.

Whoa. That's quite an adventure! And I actually learned about geography! Okay, I didn't but, oh well. Good that you and your child are okay.

@red0584: That pterotactyl must get around

@Courtney817: I would hope you weren't in bed at 6 pm

@Slyfur: No such luck! I'm not really missing. And if I was... I don't think writing a blog about it would be very high on my list of things to do

@twilightlullaby: MLP was not on TV. Gilmore Girls was. So I had no choice. Besides, Rory is kinda hot. And don't worry, there were no good looking grils on SGU so we won't have to talk about them!

@Marrium1: A sunroom is... like a porch. Except it's all enclosed. @megamannt123: That was a hell of a day Made for a great story, though

@AlmightyMax: I'm glad that my misfortune made your day j/k I thought it was hilarious, too! And I haven't actually played Mario is Missing. I don't have the game or an SNES to play it on. And you'll talk about hot girls with me? SWEET! You're way more awesome than Twilight!

@pspitus: Knock down the door?! The door probably would have hurt me more than I hurt the door This wasn't no cheap wood thing. It was METAL! Well, it might have knocked some sense into me at least.

@stalpno: Yeah, this whole entire story would have sucked if I was stuck with a Coke at the end. @TissueShoe: I think being separated from my phone was the worst part of the entire ordeal. I had to go an ENTIRE day without sending a text message. That was even worse than when the Internet was out for 5 minutes one day last week.

@AK_the_Twilight: I'm sorry you didn't learn anything about geography Uh... here! You can remember the names of the Great Lakes using the HOMES method! H = Huron, O = Ontario, M = Michigan, E = Erie, S = Superior. I bet you wouldn't have learned THAT in Mario is Missing! And me and Lexie are great (and so is Courtney just so she doesn't feel left out) Thanks man!
