Well, just like last year, it's been a pretty dissapointing Winter. Having only one snow day is about as depressing as having a game you've been waiting months for become delayed.

I live in Missouri, US and I remember several years ago, our winters could be quite fulfilling. One year I remember when we were off school for two weeks because every few days it would snow several inches. It was amazing!

It's not as if it even needs to snow that much, though, for the school to call off school. Usually if it snows an inch, we're out. Though the timing of the day is important as well. If it happens during the afternoon, we usually just stick it out until the end of the day.

We've only had one snow day this year, and that was in Dec. The weather man (or actually woman) is saying that we might have a winter storm this Tuesday (Mar. 21) so I'm crossing my fingers. One snow day is not enough.

Anywho, don't get me wrong, I love school and recognize it's importance. Having a snow day every once in a while, though, is always nice.
