Well, I went to go see Spiderman 3 on opening day, not because i'm insanely crazy about the previous movies, but for the fact that I love the Spiderman Superhero from the comics, and all the villans were really portrayed well (Venom, New Goblin, etc.). The movie IMO was "alright". I't wasn't as amazing as I thought it would have been. The CGI was epic, and Venom was awesome, but the movie lacked the spark that epic movies have. At some points, the movie despereately tried to be funny, and obviously it wasn't at all, which took away a lot from the movie. At points you were trying to force a tear out, they would make a corny joke, and it killed he mood of the movie. Toby was not serious enough in some parts, for example, when Harry asks him if his father is dead, when he says yes, he is smiling. They did a pretty good job on the movie, but for all the advertising they put into it, it didn't completely live up to my sky-high expectations.

Verdict: 8.7 out of ten or 4/5 stars.
