Hey everyone, I haven't blogged in a while but I have tried to post regularly in your blogs so you should know I wasn't dead or anything.

So I got a full time job with my aunt, it's from 9:30 to 18:30 and I'll start on monday (april 16th), so I wont be so active here on gamespot at least during the week (monday to friday. Maybe I'll log on on weekends, but trying to post in all of your blogs will be too time consuming and I won't have so much time so sorry if I don't post in your blog I'll try to but I don't want to spend like 5 hours of my little spare time

I still got a lot of "recreation things" to do and I don't know when I will I'm watching Curb Your Enthusiasm (soooo funny) and I was wanting to start with Berserk and Zone Of The Enders, I have a lot of comic books waiting to be read (Astonishing X-Men 8 to 11, Infinite Crisis 2 to 4, some Avengers, some Fantastic Four, Some X-men: The End, a couple of Uncanny X-men numbers, a lot of X-Men v2 numbers.......OMG) AND a lot of games like Bully, Scarface, Suikoden Tactics, Okami, etc., so my spare time is taken xD

About the job, I don't know the payment yet but I'm sure it wont be so crappy... I mean I hope so

So, my PS2 is working at 75% (well the situation is complex and I don't don't want to bore you even more), I'll finish watching Basilisk tomorrow , I saw 300 last week (amazing movie), I have been listening to a lot of punk lately, and I found out that Julio had a kind of a fight (argument I mean) with Pancho so that's why Pancho doesn't work at Julio's anymore =P

Right now I don't have any video games to play, cause my PS2 is getting repaired and I'm too lazy to install PC games.

So here's the full story, I'll introduce you some people I know:

Prologue

About Julio

I made friends with a guy that owns a video game store a couple of years ago, he's cool and very nice, and helps me out when I have like hardware questions. I first met him as a client, then we became "like friends", cause it's not a close relationship, but when we meet at his store we chat a little while, and I don't buy anything

He has an employee called Pancho, who is the guy that repares consoles.

Why we call him "Pancho"

I once introduced Julio to a friend of mine from school called Cristobal, cause he (the later) wanted to buy a PS2 and had some doubts about the slim version, so I said "Let's go ask Julio, a guy I know from a video game store", so we went. So there was, Julio, and Pancho was there too. I knew Julio's name, but not Pancho's, so for me it was just the guy that repaired consoles. We chatted about the PS2 and Cristobal got his doubts cleared, so we left.

A couple of weeks or months later, we met again with Cristobal (cause we don't see each other too much cause we're not in school anymore):

Cristobal (C): Hey I went the other day to Julio's

Me (A): Oh yeah?

C: Yeah and there was Pancho too

A: Who the hell is Pancho??

C: The guy that repairs consoles, he's called Pancho

A: How do you know that? O.o

C: I heard Julio calling him Pancho, so he is called Pancho

A: Ahaaaaa great

So a couple of months went by and we met again(of course we don't talk just about Julio, btw):

A: Remember Julio? I met him the other day. Pancho was there too

C: Who is Pancho??

A: Pancho, the fat guy that repairs consoles at Julio's

C: Oh, his name is Pancho??

A: YES YOU TOLD ME THAT!!

C: I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT!!

A: YEAH YOU TOLD ME YOU HEARD JULIO CALLING HIM PANCHO!!

C: NOOOOOOO THAT'S NONSENSE HOW COULD I EVER TOLD YOU THAT IF I NEVER HEARD JULIO CALLING HIM PANCHO!!

A: THEN WHO THE F*CK TOLD ME HIS NAME IS PANCHO?!! NO ONE KNOWS HIM THAT WE KNOW!

C: AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH I don't know I never told you that

A: ...so... let's just call him Pancho from now on. I mean, not to him, between us.

C: Ok

So we don't know if he really is called Pancho (which is a common nickname for Francisco), I remember Cristobal telling me that, and he might think I made this whole thing up xD

Now, what happened with my PS2

Chapter One: Julio is gone

A couple of weeks ago I went to Julio's store to see if he was there, to ask him about this problem I got with my PS2: the controllers go crazy if I plug two of them, but any of my 2 controllers work perfect in the player 1 port. Also I knew from long time ago that my PS2's lens is like melt, so it doesn't read the games everytime and I have to replace it; I wanted to leave it with Julio and Pancho cause I trust them. So I get there, and Julio was not there, neither Pancho. Just a guy with a strange haircut. I was scared cause at least Pancho was always there, so I thought maybe Julio sold the store. Anyway, to make sure I went some days later, and there he was: the hair guy again, and no Pancho, and no Julio. I didn't want to ask that guy about Julio cause I thought that guy took the opportunity to have his own store, taking advantage of poor Julio, who must have broke, and now is maybe sleeping under a bridge with no money at all

Chapter Two: Could that be...Julio?

So I decided to bring my console to another store which is right in front of what once was Julio's. It's full of videogame stores there, but this particular store I trusted in. For what happened next, I realised maybe it was destiny instead of trust. I went there and left my PS2, and as I walked out, I obviously couldn't help to look inside former Julio's (cause instead of walls it has only glass in front), and guess who was there, inside, playing pro evolution soccer with the hair guy... Julio! So I went inside to say hello:

Me (A): Well hello there! You remember me? It's been a while

Julio (J): Hello! Yes I remember you, how's it goin?

A: Good hey you still here in this store?

J: Yes, unfortunately

*we laugh*

A: So what are you playing?

J: Pro evolution soccer 2007, for 360

(they were playing on a Sharp brand LCD)

A: 360? Why does it look so bad?

J: You haven't seen how bad PS2 looks in this tv

We chatted a little longer, and then I left...and when I was coming out I saw someone sitting on a bench...PANCHO!!! I barely got a look at him cause I didn't want to talk to him, but I'm sure it was him. So they're not broke

Chapter Three: My day without videogames

It wasn't so terrible after all, I saw 3 Lost episodes (I'm watching the 2nd season), my daily Basilisk episode and wrote 2 game reviews (and now I'm writing this). I'll go today to retrieve it, hopefully it will be done this afternoon, as good as new. Oh, but last night I called the guy and he told me he tested the controller ports and there was nothing wrong with them, so maybe its one of my controllers (I doubt it, cause independently they work well).

Conclusions

-It seems that Sharp TVs are crap, if anyone has one confirm this please

-Julio isn't broke, he's maybe richer than ever cause he got a new employee (the hair guy).

Now that was a long blog post

PS: If someone knows something about the controller issue (when I plug both of them the d-pads go crazy like if I was pressing left all the time in both controllers, or they don't respond) post it here or PM me please
