Well I got an Xbox 360 with some money I had saved up. Also got Lost Odyssey with it, and I have enough for another game. So to my fellow 360 owners, any recommendations? I'm a fan of most genres.

Congrats, check out Mass Effect. I had to wrestle my x360 from my housemate everyday when she was into that game.

Bioshock, Guitar Hero 3, Halo 3, Gears of War and Call of Duty are my favourite games on there (based on how much time I have played and completed them on easy modes etc).

nice but im not a 360 dude so i cant really recommend any games

AW YEAH!!! Good job man! 360s my favorite system of this gen. Let me know when you get Live. I'd recommend Mass Effect, Oblivion, CoD4 (if you get Live), The Orange Box, etc. I can't recommend Gears though. A 5 hour campaign with literally no plotline, and online everybody is a total freak, even moreso than in any other game.
btw, ignore Havoc. Microsoft basically fixed the RRoD. That only happened with early 360s.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. One of my favourite experiences when I first played that game.

Congrats, this is a very easy suggestion though to a fellow RPG gamer and that is to go with Mass Effect. Mass Effect is the best game on the 360 hands down and blends FPS and RPG elements seamlessly, but is a RPG at heart. I have no doubt you'll enjoy this game.
