I hear ya! My parents have their own place in the country which they use in the summer and weekends. This place has four walls and a roof, not to mention running colde water.

If it were a tent or a trailer, I would definately not being doing that.

Ah,camping! Personally, I love it. Sleeping on the ground, drinking from the creek, sitting around the campfire telling stories to all hours, hiking through the brush. The more roughing it, the better. Sorry it didn't agree with you. Cereal and Koolaid are not a sufficient diet, though! And a camping trip is NOT for reading! It's to commune with nature, and get away from tv's, phones, other modern conveniences. Of course you have to deal with wildlife too, and watch for ticks. But hey, that's part of the fun!

xlovedust - LOL im quite surprised that they didnt know !!! i had made it clear before we left (obvisuly they didnt pay attention)

Sallenj- i think i might try it again.. later. alot later lol. i enjoyed look at the FEW stars. did a bit of hiking too. dont worry... when i came home i pigged out . well i got away from tv and everything electric ~(well besides a small light) . wildlife wasnt too bad.. alot of bugs though !!
