I recently picked up the new Alice in Chains album, Black Gives Way to Blue, and even though the guys have a new lead singer in William DuVall, it sounds purely like Alice In Chains. Seriously: I love this album. The grinding guitars and William's resonance with Jerry Cantrell makes it sound not so much like the late and great Layne Staley, but a refreshing sound that recaptures the sound of their grunge metal roots without trying to sound like Layne. It's hard to explain, but it's a superb record. Even better is that the first two singles "A Looking In View" and the amazing "Check My Brain" are now available on Rock Band 2, along with "Rooster", "No Excuses", and what could possibly be my favorite Alice in Chains song, "Would?" Even MORE better? Another track pack is on the way! I'll download it for sure, along with Flobots' recent Rock Band debut, "Handlebars".

Oh, and Epic Mickey looks epic. It's looks like Okami mixed with Fallout 3 with Mickey Mouse. I can't wait to find out more about this intriguing product.

And Natal? I'm still not sure.
