With school slowly creeping into my schedule, I decided to deliver one last review before it really takes hold. After thinking about it, I selected an older game to review, one that many have grown to know since it was first announced. Here's AK's review of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess for Wii!
Talk about shocking; Persona 3 is coming to the PSP. I've barely finished the Journey in FES for PS2 and we get this, with a female lead character too. I feel that I should finish the Answer in FES before I get excited about this, but being able to take one of my all-time favorite RPG's with me on the go is great (though I rarely bring my PSP with me on the go, considering its battery life). Still, I'm excited. The characters in Persona 3 are absolutely incredible, and hopefully, Atlus will keep all of the fun factors of Persona 3 without sacrificing anything. Seriously, creating Personas and battling through Tartarus is addictive. I'm happy that Persona 3's following is so strong; apparently, enough people enjoyed it that Atlus had to bring it to the PSP. Thumbs-up to Atlus!
Oh, and Shadow Complex too. I haven't played much, but it's looking to be fun. It seems to capture the exploration aspects of Metroid, with the fast shooting of a game like...well...Metroid. Seriously, it's just like Metroid, but who hasn't already said that?
Hope everyone had a wonderful summer, and good luck to everyone in the coming fall!

I would love to play Shadown Complex. It has been a while since Corruption came out so I need to get to play something Metroid-like.

Okay so re Twilight Princess review: it's a little dry, a little dare I say boring, but it's very well-written and very intelligent. Reminiscent of most of the stuff IGN/GameSpot does these days.
And another point entirely, but I hugely disagree with you about Twilight Princess. I think it's passable as a game but it fails to ever be really, really fun. I hate to say it, but I think that Ocarina of Time really sort of screwed over the franchise. Wind Waker is the exception, but now every console Zelda game is going to be created with the mission to "be Ocarina of Time, only better". Wind Waker was so different and so FUN, but that's the exception, or so I expect.
And yes, I know that had nothing to do with your review or anything so sorry for the randomness...yeah...
