Let's not jump to any sort of rapid conclusions, it's not even clear if FF13 is going to other platforms or if it is some kind of spinoff (which is my guess). Besides, there is no indication that the 360 is even that other system.

Thanks for the info! I used be in a love affair with Final Fantasy, but I have fallen out of love since FFX, it's just lost its magic in my opinion, especially with the terrible deviation of FFX-2. I really hope FFXIII brings back that magic for me, I will always give every Final Fantasy game a chance.

Strangely enough, ive never actually beaten any of them, but I own them all other than 10. I just bought them all off of a friend a few weeks ago for 20$. What a deal eh?

It's quite clear that they're saying the upcoming offshoot projects aren't exclusive to PS3 and cellphones. Also, given the fact that they mentioned the latter format, hints that the Wii is a strong possibility given the series' power in Japan. It's still the main market.

But we know that a Wii FF is coming. Look it up here on GS. Its the next Crystal Chronicles.

IT"S NOT COMING OUT FOR THE 360

white engine is for PS3, and if it does by some chance PS3 WILL be the better version not the 360's. I rarely things like that .

Sorry friend but the white engine was recently announced as open source, meaning that it can now be used on any console capable of handling it, which of course includes the PS3 and the 360. And so far almost every 360 game has been better when compared to its mutiplatform PS3 counterpart. Check GameSpot and IGN, all of the scores show it. A PS3 game has yet to outscore its 360 counterpart. And there is NO way to rule this out until we hear the words "This game is never coming out for the 360" spoken by Kojima himself.

I hope it comes to the 360!

wow..you're behind the times...ff has come to other systems as well, you know. Nintendo, for example started the ff saga. all these rumors on the internet..i'm tired of hearing them.

don't get all excited ppl, because it's just rumored crap. kh2 dot net just got in trouble by sqaure for saying kh2 fm was the last of the kh series... because they 'translated' wrong...i'm not going to believe a word until i see it happen. If its not official it's just rumors. no use having an orgasim over something that may be slammed back into your face.

like mgs4 going multi. they may but kojima has no reason to go multi...he's getting more then enough profits from being a sony exclusive (after nintendo). sony will be fine. ^^ i for one am not traitoring to microsoft for a gaming console thank you. i'll stick to my nintendo and sony systems. oh..and my mac computer. THATS RIGHT MAC! i have switched sides! my laptop computer is a mac! stupid windows vista being gay.

anyway. that's my speal. i'm happy with my older ff titles..quite frankly, they'll always be the best. I'm finding new games are too much the same old crap over and over. i won't touch fps's anymore..because they all are the same. Gears of War, Quake 4; same basic gameplay..different story (btw i beat both games in 2 days >>) so dull. i hope they come out with some good rpg games...they keep me entertained. or silent hill 5...oooo i can't wait for SH5!

oh and aa7, go get mgs ops for psp..it's an amazing psp game! one of the best. oh and to show u all, psp is the preferred gaming system in north america now..only cuz we're rich ^^ but it does have some good games for it now...see, psp is doing fine now. ps3 will in time. ^ ^
