Ouch, Is what I say.
What the PS3 would be saying if it could talk :
"AHAHAHAHAH! Oh god! HELP ME! Please! HELP! IM IN SO MUCH PAIN! AHAHAHA! My games! My precious games!"
Im offically naming yesterday International Kick The PS3 In The Throat Day.
Kick #1. Devil May Cry 4 goes to 360. One of the PS2's most cherished (and amazing) series goes to tmultiplatform.
Kick #2. Ace Combat 6, yet another Sony exclusive series goes to the 360, but this time NO PS3 version follows.
Kick #3. No Obilvion for Euro Launch. Biggest Launch game lost.
Kick #4. No Splinter Cell: Double Agent for Euro Launch.
Kick #5. No Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2 for Euro Launch
Kick #6. No Rainbow Six: Vegas for Euro Launch
Kick #7. No F.E.A.R. for Euro Launch.
Could things have been worse for Sony and their machine?
Well, yeah, but lets not talk about it. Im truly sad for the hell that Sony is going through.
I can just see the Sony Ofiicials in their offices, crying and hugging one another saying:
"It's ok, we still have Metal Gear Solid 4........for now....."
Post away and give some reflections on this most awful of days, well awful for Sony anyway.

I guess not even MGS4 is enough of a reason anymore - unless you're able to pay 660 dollars for ONE GAME.

You are forgetting about the released compatibility list - there are about 70% of the games, yeah, but most of the big series (FF, MGS, DMC, SH) have noticeable problems or don't work at all.
I think more effort could've been put into it.

I used to be a ps2 only owner, but i'm really glas that DMC is coming to the 360!

Me too, it was one of the only justifications I had left for getting a PS3, but now thats looking less and less likely.

I was so shocked when I read DMC4 was going to xbox 360 and pc. Thats a low blow that no one deserves over at sony. But to me, I'm happy as hell LOL. Woot woot and a hazza for gamers.

yeah, it sucks for sony, but it's better for gamers, for we have more choices. Not, if MGS4 comes to the 360, let's hope final fantasy comes too!

Sony is really starting to tick me off... Recently, I did this huge rant with one of my friends... it was fun.

What is people's fascination with MGS 4? Just because it has great trailers and cutscenes, people are expecting the second coming. I'm sorry, but all this hype over MGS 4 can only hurt it, when you realise you can't be Raiden and be doing all that awesome action to those robot cows, but instead (as always) resort to see cutscenes. Does everyone love MGS to be hyping it to be the saviour of the PS3? I'd understand FF 13, but MGS4...nah. I guess fans must be so desperate now that they root for a game that they probably never understood. Way to go Sony, losing all your good stuff. Great news for us

Sony is failing so hardcore, it's sad to see how they made PS2 so awesome but then they released the PS3 and it's messing up bigtime. Unless Sony does something, and fast, they will be out of the video game industry... permanently... muaha... muahuha..... MUAHAUAHUAHAHAHA!!!

I have to agree with both of you,digi and death. I never liked the MGS series. I tried to, i really did, but I could just never get into them. FF is a much more valuable property IMO as well. And death, I totally know what you mean. The PS2 was king but now Sony seems like little more than the court jester.

Sony signed his own grave multiple times now. I'm wondering how long it will take before things go real bad for Sony! They should be lucky that the PS2 was such a hit, else they were grave digging already! And yeah, MGS 4 probably saves Sony's ass..

Losing exclusives and being more expensive then your competition is never a good thing. I still plan to get a PS3 some day but looks like I'm getting the 360 first.

I've been saying this for a while ifg FFXIII and MGS4 comes to xbox360 I won't need a ps3. Screw Blue Ray I don't have an HDTV.

Yeah, if you own a BS3 and admit it, you are the laughing stock of the game community. I will never get one, because the hardware runs too hot without a disc inside. Kick to the throat day, funny and quite true!
