Lately we've all been hearing about, "Xbox 360 this... PS3 that... etc."  I've decided to put my views out there on this console war.  Right now I think its way to early to make any opinions on 360 vs. PS3 vs. Wii.  I mean seriously, two of the consoles arent even out yet.  I already own a 360 but sad to say I'm upset with the lack of great games.  So far The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Call of Duty 2, and Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter are the only things holding it together, especially when so many games *cough* Perfect Dark Zero* let us down on expectations.  The only things I can really look forward to are Halo 3 and Gears of War.  I think if Microsoft plans to win the "war" they really need to get some new ideas out there, not just sub-par sequals.  Playstation 3 I really can't tell right now, with games like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Tekken 6, and Final Fantasy XIII coming alone nicely (so it seems) Sony could definitly win this war.  Wii on the other hand.... hmm... what can I say about that.  Uh... well I feel the name "Wii" is kinda... well.... not such a good idea in the first place.  Maybe I can put that on the side though with such games as The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl (wtf how did Solid Snake get in there?!) I can definitly see Wii satisfying fanboys and maybe newcomers alike, especially with its extrememly innovative controls.  Well that wraps up this *hopefully* weekly update on my Console war views.

Final Verdict:

I think its way to early to tell right now, but I have to say that Microsoft is in trouble if Sony and Nintendo come out as strong as they look.
