Today is the day that we all remember the soldiers that gave their lives in a number of different wars. They gave their lives so that we can live in peace and freedom. To those soldiers I say Thank You and Rest in Peace. Lest we forget.
This week was big in gaming and movies. Emergence day has finally come and Gears of War is here. I just picked up my copy today, Limited Edition of course, so I really cannot comment on it yet, maybe next week. Call of Duty 3 was also released and Rainbow Six Vegas is coming out next week. Kind of picked a bad time to release those games, because of Gears of War and....well...PS3 and Wii coming out next week. I still plan on getting a Wii, but Zelda is the only game I want. So, I might actually skip out on the Wii and get the Game cube version in December. I don't know. At first I thought faceplates for the 360 were stupid. "No one is going to see the system but me." Well, while I was out today, I bought the Halo faceplate along with Gears of War. Came with the Halo Trilogy theme for the dashboard. That's not all I got today. I went over to Chapters and picked up Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell Operation Barracuda, and Splinter Cell Checkmate. I love the Splinter Cell games and I love learning the back story of most video games. I can't wait to read those books and play Gears of War. Speaking of which, I'm off to play Gears of War.
