Greetings whoever dares to read this
Or bothers anyway. It's been an awful long time since i've made a blog, i know and i apologise to the one person who actually reads them. Well, 3 from the looks of things. Whatever; not much has happened since last time, i've visited several railways since but now am currently taking a break from trips. I've been occupying my attention with several new shows, such as Reaper and Dirty Sexy Money (Anyone watch those by any chance?) but of course, my attention has been turned to my latest videogame, GTA IV. I'm not gonna say too much on it as i'll be treading over worn out track but it's frankly brilliant, not just for a videogame, but as an experience. Oh and my birthday's coming in about.... well, tomorrow, actually. Woo for me i guess. But i'm just bored so i'm doing this survey thing that Charlie begged me to do. Well, if it really makes you happy.....
1. Have you ever met anyone named Curtis?
No, i have not. What a silly name; if i ever meet anyone called Curtis, i'm gonna mock him. That's right, Curtis. I'm watching you. And you better watch out.
(No offence to any Curtis' here of course; you're awesome)
2. Have you ever tried to fix your television?
No, because my television is so awesomely reliable that there is no reason to fix it..... mostly. It did have a few minor niggles but i didn't want to sabotage it with my shoddy skills or lack of-
i mean i knew that the TV could not stand the brilliance of my amazing technical abilities. Yeah....
3. Have you ever eaten anything with a smilely face on it?
Gingerbreadmen, they're always cheerful. Sometimes ordinary men. Not quite as sugary and not smilely either. What does smilely mean anyway?
4. Have you ever been lost in the desert?
Can't get lost somewhere I haven't been; except in my...mind, i guess. Ah, the Sahara. ![]()
5. Can you stand on your head?
Can you please get a girlfriend, maybe so that she can help you come with a remotely sensible question? If you do have one, then she clearly sucks, get a new one.
6. Have you ever been dumb enough to eat a dollar bill?
We don't have them here so i guess they count as exotic cuisine.
7. Has your dog ever bitten you?
Never. Partly because I don't have one. Except in my mind, his name is Door. Oww, Door, quit it!
8. Do you think that you live in a parallel universe and the other side of the mirror is the real world?
Wait, seriously? That's the real world?!
Amazing.... it all makes sense now!
9. Ever thought about robbing Wal-Mart?
But everything's so cheap there. Even if i did, my loot would be worth about 5 bucks. Or 10 quid, whatever.
10. What's the longest time it's taken you to finish a chocolate Easter bunny?
Can't remember as i haven't had one..... well as long as i can remember.
Well, hope you've enjoyed this quiz, approximately none of the question have been answered properly but approximately none were that great anyway. Ciao, it's been a blast. ![]()
P.S this was done entirely in jest, so mr/miss/it creator of this quiz so no, the questions weren't that bad, they were actually pretty amusing, apologies for my crappy answers, and your girlfriend doesn't suck, in fact she's pretty good, may I please?
Another week, another blog. Quite a week it's been too. Firstly, I visited the East Lancashire Railway for their Winter gala; was brilliant, with a wide and colourful variety of locomotives working, one of which was Green Arrow; those of you who've read the Railway Series will recognise him. Sadly, the locomotive is going to be withdrawn later this year and consigned to static display but it had a few fantastic runs this weekend.
The line also had an engine masquerading as James (though only static) and Toby (also static but not even an engine; a modified and repainted brake van) Also, I've managed to get my Xbox 360 online, so does anyone else have one? Plus i've finally got the latest issues of Star Wars Dark Times and KOTOR; shot in the dark but does anyone here read those? No? Damn
Oh and finally, I've got a pair of budgies! Not sure what gender they are; one is yellow with a hint of green and another is blue with a yellow face.
So that's all for this weekend, folks. Or whoever's reading. Safe, homie. Or whatever you kids say now.
Hey to whoever has been so bored that they've stumbled upon this ![]()
I'm Nimo, Dockside Salty from SIF.... and that's about it. I've decided to start blogging here, seeing as it's pretty pointless having an account that I never use; anyway, i'll probably make a few blogs once a week or so, if anyone actually reads them. So I'll tell you a little about myself and how my day went and, er, we'll see how things go from there.
As i said, my name is Nimo, and I'm a member of Sodor Island Forums (though not very active). My interests are videogames, model railways, reading, travelling, machines (particularly steam powered stuff), trains, cars, lego, photography and writing. Of course, it'd be a bit silly coming on here and not having any favourite TV shows so i like Scrubs, Thomas the tank engine, Ugly Betty, Top Gear, any railway documentaries, South Park, Monty Python, etc. As you can see, a bit of a variety of shows. Favourite movies are South park bigger longer and uncut, Team America, anything by Monty Python again, The Star Wars films though I can generally watch just about anything. Moving off films, my friends here are Charlie (Duckgwr
, Ronnie (RRJS3), Dustin (Shining23) and Ethan (Oldblueengine) If any of those are so bored that they're reading it, hello
Today's day went pretty well, i think; I played a bit of Forza Motorsport 2 (for those of you who don't know, it's a racing videogame); I'm currently a level 32 player and now beginning to find it isn't that easy a game
that said, i added some decals to my Aston Martin DB9 and I think it looks pretty nice
the decals suit the car's shape. Or at least that's the intention. Oh and I also worked on my model railway layout in the loft and began setting the track. However, the surface is uneven so i gotta get some elevated track supports and then come back. Also, trying to think of a short story idea (working on a book with a few friends) and having no luck ![]()
Anyway, hope someone actually reads this and, uh, see you soon.
