Nice blog, who is the girl in the pic. She looks familiar.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 12:44 am PT
Watchmen was a great film! I really liked it. The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is a classic. And that girl in the pic has some beauty!
Posted Aug 1, 2009 12:52 am PT
What? You didn't see Dark Knight this month?

Ahh, Dirty Harry. I only you were on the streets in real life...
Posted Aug 1, 2009 1:25 am PT
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of my favourite movies. Have you heard many older Elton John songs?
Posted Aug 1, 2009 1:26 am PT
david_lck - Thanks Familiar huh? Well her name is Emmanuelle Chriqui.

ShadowLaguna - I really liked Watchmen as well. It's one of those movies you either love or hate. The pic defines beauty.

PJ24 - No Can't do it every month That would be awesome if Dirty Harry was real. I'd love to just have a conversation with him.

kingkilla3 - I think you're saying that The Good, the Bad and the Ugly is one of my favourite movies, and Elton John is one of your favourite bands? I'm basically just in the Greatest Hits of Elton John. I plan to dig a bit deeper into his music library soon.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 2:15 am PT
Yes... that is what I mean. Mentioning bands has become a habit it seems.
My favourite Elton John albums are Tumbleweed Connection and Honky Chateau, so you could start with those (or Goodbye Yellow Brick Road).
Posted Aug 1, 2009 3:17 am PT
Haha yeah, she acted in Don't Mess with the Zohan. She made watching the film bearable.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 4:22 am PT
kingkilla3 - We all make mistakes I'll check out that album the next chance I get

david_lck - Yeah she did. You're not the first person I've heard say that
Posted Aug 1, 2009 4:37 am PT
That's a pretty good amount of movies again I still haven't seen watchmen...
Posted Aug 1, 2009 4:41 am PT
Watchmen was a good movie. And you still like watching a lot of movies, eh ? Good monthly blog Mine's up if you're interested (it will be unfortunately the last monthly blog I'll ever make )
Posted Aug 1, 2009 6:07 am PT

Posted Aug 1, 2009 6:40 am PT
Hey LD long time no see. Nice montly blog. You saw the hangover too. It seems like everyone i know has seen that movie but me. Not fair at all.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 6:51 am PT
Wow movie mounth. Harry Potter is disappoiting?
Posted Aug 1, 2009 7:45 am PT
public enemies wooooooooow....I just have to watch this..
Posted Aug 1, 2009 11:04 am PT
MorkkiTH - Thanks Be sure to see it, I think you'd like it

6h05tly - I don't think I'll be able to watch this many movies this month, it will be a very short list. I'll try to check on yours soon Why will this be the last one?

NuKkU - lol yeah I did thanks, and she is

zxv33 - Long time no see is right. How have you been doing? The Hangover is hilarious, hopefully you're able to see it in theaters still but if not there's always DVD or Blu-Ray.

Primo295 - Harry Potter was ok. I guess I was disappointed. I'm used to being disappointed with the releases this year.

Shinobi-Neo - You might like it, I'd give it a try. I personally didn't think it was very good at all.

Movie filled month, sounds like a good one for you indeed. I love Elton John's "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?", makes me emotional every time. Hugs
Posted Aug 1, 2009 12:30 pm PT
@ 5_LD_5: I've mentioned about this on one of my earlier blogs prior to my monthly blog. But to keep it short and sweet, I just won't be able to have any free time to work on monthly blogs in the future due to how time-consuming the process of making one (and my very tight schedule for the fall semester). Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed making these blogs. Despite this decision I had to make, I will continue to blog on other things here at GS, just not any ones that show my monthly progress.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 2:58 pm PT
who's that in the last pic?
Posted Aug 1, 2009 6:25 pm PT
Oh wow you did change your icon, Never thought you would do that really. You really did watch a lot of movies this past month, and you got a lot of great movies as well. And the girl for your image of the month is really pretty. Nice job with the blog.
Posted Aug 1, 2009 8:15 pm PT
boom-moo - A movie filled month is a normal month for me I love it too, a very emotional song indeed.

6h05tly - Sorry I haven't been able to keep up with my friends blogs. Don't worry about not making monthly blogs, there's not much you can do when it comes to real life matters.

kingrich06 - Emmanuelle Chriqui

Colmillios - I grew out of that avatar and the girl in it. It was time for a well needed change. Thanks
Posted Aug 2, 2009 2:23 am PT
Watchmen!
Posted Aug 2, 2009 2:34 am PT
Awesome man! Of course I like the pic but you got some great movies there!
Posted Aug 2, 2009 7:11 am PT
That chick totally got her head chopped in half in Wrong Turn.
Posted Aug 2, 2009 9:57 am PT

I've missed you! hope things are going well.

ha ha Dirty Harry huh? you're gonna think this is funny but my grandma loved his movies. She saw them all in the theater on release. Nice selection of movies that you purchased, enjoy. I noticed you watched Taxi Driver, did you like it?

Posted Aug 3, 2009 7:18 am PT
As always a great number of movies are listed, probably more then I watch in 6 months and the girl is just the meaning of beauty
Posted Aug 4, 2009 2:04 pm PT
I didn't watch ANY of those movies, but I'm supposed to watch the HP one sometime... how come you haven't seen Bruno?
Posted Aug 7, 2009 2:47 am PT
LOST by far is one of the greatest shows out there. A lot of people hate Watchmen because of Dr. Manhattan but I thought his nudity was a reference to biblical beliefs where Adam and Eve didn't cover themselves up because they weren't ashamed. Same goes with the hero, he never did anything wrong and looked passed human emotions and based his decisions on consciousness.
Posted Aug 9, 2009 12:22 am PT
Sorry I am late to this. I missed out watching Public Enemies. Shame really, since I would have loved to watch it.
Good purchases in the month and the girl in the pic reminds me of someone...but never mind.
Posted Aug 10, 2009 10:39 am PT
wow, you are really a movie guy
You've seen a lot of great movies and those are some great purchases
Tetris is so damn addictive if you play online , have you tried it online.
Have a great August too
P.S: That is a very classy and beautiful lady by the way, have I seen her in a TV program lately? Is she a singer?
