Now that I'm free of finals and out for X-Mas break, I can focus more on doing stuff I like again, like writing and art (altho any uploads to DevART may have to wait until I return to school in January, as they have the programs available there that I use to clean up and re-size images).
Speaking of DevArt, I'm looking for some good advice on something. I was going to announce in my Livejournal that I had a DevArt account, but I then realized that it might attract a storm of pple who had no interest in me previously trying to suck up just to get free art. It's happened to me before, and the ironic thing is, I asked some pple what I should do about it over e-mail, and got some really bad advice that led to me tolerating a guy who'd basically used me to for art for a good while before I ditched his sorry butt. These pple are actually on my friend's list, believe it or not, but I can't fathom why some of them are on there because I'm pretty they don't read my LJs (and vice-versa). For that matter, I don't particularly care for some of them either. I thought about just de-friending the pple in question, then posting something to the effect of, "If you want back on my friend's list, then either e-mail me or leave a comment here". Kind of whiny, but at least I can weed out some of the no-goods. I mean, why be on someone's friend's list when you don't even read their entries? That's like, two dozen or LJs that I try to keep up with (and some of them are just plain uts). What does everyone think?
And for the record, I like my TV.com blog and the pple over here much better then LJ. ![]()
