I just had one of my friends over yesterday. His name is Julian, a noob at HALO 2, but still can kill nevertheless. We mostly played Colossus, Zanzibar, and Midship creating dumb game modes within Slayer, like Tag on the Lift in colossus. Below are the game modes we invented in slayer:

Tag on the Lift: Basic Slayer with insanity strapped to it. The lift in Colossus is the mainstay for this game where the two opposing players will jump and try to kill each other on or around (has to be really close to the lift like on the edge of the balcony) the lift. One player will get on to the lift first, then the next person will go in. As you know the lift will rocket you up, and try to get you to land on balconies, or ledges, but you will have to try to maintain staying on the lift or very close to the lift. Every time me and julian met up there wed try to tag each other with a shotgun blast to the face or a plasma. Endless fun. I blasted Julian in the face with a shotgun, in mid air while he tagged me with a plasma, our bodies went up and down the lift.

Get the Sword: This was on Midship, its basic slayer except the goal is the sword.As soon as a player gets the sword he must use it or use a shotgun to keep the sword.

The center of the Windmill: In zanzibar there is a windmill-esque centerpiece, you can kill each other as many times as you want, but in order to win a round of 10 minutes you must reach the center of the windmill. Its highly competitive for 2 or more players. Since the Game doesnt keep score for this type of thing instead of using the game just write down the wins on a piece of paper. Any weapon is applicable.

At julians house (I brought my games and 360 HDD and played on his 360), i beat Nico and Kyle (Cloudstrife145), Jan Jan (julians brother), julian and, michael at Halo 2, it aint such a victory over Kyle, cause it was his first Halo 2 match, same thing with Michael, janjan and julian, but nico, I owned his ass! Midship (hours after kyle left) in the last 10 minutes at the start of the match befor i had to go home, I got 13 straight kills without dying, and with my trusted shotgun, and dual Plasma set. It was Awesome, nico thought he had me with the sword but at the apex of the charge with the energy sword, just inches from my face i let go with the shotgun at his face and boom he dies! His sword drops and i jump back just in time to ambush Michael and JanJan as they fight it out, as Michael backs into the corridor as he sees janjan (not damaged), I jump over him, and blast JanJan in the neck point blank range, then michael pops up with his dual plasma, and I jump back and throw a Plasma at his face, in an amazing turn of events, boom nico appears right beside michael when it goes off and loses his shield and i blast him.
