So I was looking through my gamespot updates this morning and stumbled upon this bombshell of a news story.
Disney is to buy Marvel and its 5000+ characters for a whopping $4billion! The deal is pretty much sealed but is awaiting the go ahead from major share holders and governing bodies. My kneejerk response to my beloved Marvel going to the f***king mouse is No no no no no no no no no no no no no....and why???? The only solace I can muster if this news comes to fruitionis in hoping that during some freak ion storm, all Marvel and Disney characters are miraculously brought to life and engage in a civil war which sees Wolverine eviscerate that effing mouse and his companions. I also hope that the Blob sits on Hannah F***king Montana and during a sickly musical number involving the whole disney cast, the Punisher nerve gases the whole lot of em!!! In my opinion the shareholders will boycot this move. We all hope and pray.
I also worry that someone will find Stan Lee with his head in an oven, bereft of life and still clinging to a defaced picture that bloody mouse with the eyes scratched out. Troubling times my friends......troubling times ![]()
Hello again and greetings from the man of JazZ!!!
Dust hasn't even began to think about settling around Fallout 3's cushy new spot on store shelves, but developer Bethesda already has the coordinates set for its next megaton drop date. According to publishing exec Paul Oughton, Bethesda plans on releasing another title in its sprawling, freeform Elder Scrolls series of RPGs -- in only two years, no less.
"At the moment we've got Fallout 3 for this year and potentially there's a new Elder Scrolls title in 2010," said Oughton.
So, there's the "what" and "when," but how about the "where"?
"At the moment we're not that interested in the Wii. We're going to stick to PS3, Xbox 360 and PC," he noted, giving gamers everywhere one less thing to worry about.
Considering Fallout 3's boundless expanses, as well as Bethesda's potential plans for dog armor, awwwwdorable dog feet pajamas, and other downloadable things of the like, 2010 sounds like the perfect time to unravel a new Elder Scrolls. Can't wait!!!
Oh Happy Day! I bought this game early on release day from my local ASDA,(yes asda) and was overjoyed to see that all these months of waiting in anticipation for this game were not in vain. Quite simply this is probably the best sandbox game i've ever played. being a big comic book fan and a fan of free roaming games in general this game ticks all the right boxes. Action, gore , mayhem , intruiging and dark story, stealth, and evolvong abailities all add up to make this a must buy for anyone who has a soft spot for the super!
The only downsides i've discovered so far are as follows:
The graphics are arguably a little dated, to be honest they're still really good and the frame rate during insane action is in my opinion far more important. This game simply doesn't glitch or lag!
So the real bummer for me was that apart from tanks, apc's and heli's, you can't drive any other vehicles ala GTA. and you can't store fire arms in a safe house.![]()
Honestly....thats it. I couldn't find anything else to complain about.![]()
I love this game and it will definitely be getting my GOTY recommendation. My advice....Buy this game! It seriously Rocks!!!!!![]()
