well first thing you notice is 2 player split screen which is one feature that reviewers say crippled the first.... personally i didnt mind but hey its there and it works well. one thing i liked about it is you tend to compete against your friend rather than the AI which is good for Motorstorm in my opinion since the AI was hard to beat... another thing you notice is the menu is very boring compared to the original. the first Motorstorm had a massive mosh/gig in the middle of the Nevada desert playing constantly. now that was cool. now its just a big orange and yellow menu. it does what its meant to i just wanted something like the first had.
now in the demo you get 3 choices of vehicle: Monster Truck, Bike or Racing truck. obviously being the new vehicle i took the Monster Truck and the race got underway.
right i want to talk about the graphics in its own wee paragraph because at first glance they look really good. it shows that developers are now improving on the PS3 graphics from launch and the new areas there racing in are beautiful. but there are some things lacking in my opinion. the mud in the game.... there isnt really much of it considering the areas your actually racing on are almost all mud. and when it is on the car it doesnt really look like anything.... one other thing is places with big density of trees is just wallpaper. thats a old trick and still usable in the right situations but it shouldnt be used in areas you can have contact with. i fell of the side (a area almost impossible not fall of) and i was about to fly into some trees and i was all "oooo lets see the car and guy smack through some trees" but instead i hit a wall with tree wallpaper... not cool Sony
now level design and AI: first the AI. its still punishinly hard. the best i have acheived is 2nd and 1st place was miles ahead of me. like i couldnt even see him and i only just got 2nd place so thats a huge no no for me. its one of the things i hated about the first. so didnt like that much. right level deisgn. it is a short course and with only 2 laps it is a scrap to the finish and it has some big areas to power through and some small places to navigate slowly through. however Motorstorm is known for its shortcuts and the level doesnt really provide any and when i thought i did find one spawned me near the beginning of the level for "cheating". i mean what the hell??
so my impression of Motorstorm 2 isnt really a big one. so far from what i have seen it isnt really different from the first and has even more niggles than the first. fair enough it was a demo but demos usually try and show of its potential and i didnt really see any. i also played the Pure demo and i thought that game was far more fun and might even buy that in protest against Motorostorm
ok im getting a bit over the top but seriously so far, not a good game. i would give it 6/10 as a demo.now while i was writing this i thought "hey i could write more" which i would like. i wouldnt do them all that often and i dont want to become a sole reviewer but one now and again i would like

thats right another episode of news with Stu. i havent really been blogging or keeping up to date cause college is really taking up a lot of time and i have been with my gf like every day this weekend so why would i be on gamespot haha i joke. but i did check up on you all and hammered through a heap of blogs yesterday so i think im up to date. i just want to clear something up. i think some people took offense at my last blog 
which i didnt want happening. i was just curious to see what had happened to the 20 odd comments i was getting before hand. it probably is the fact everyone is back at school at stuff. i still dont think i have gotten used to the summer being over even though its not 6 degrees C in Inverness today so yea i think you all understood where i was coming from

) for those who cant be bothered watching a bit of a video then its basically a bunch of teams of 10 compete for points on huge inflatable obsticale courses and get soaked in the process. was great fun and my team "Team B&Q" came second so it was great fun
one final thing.... MY RED SKINNY JEANS ARRIVED oh yes they are sexy.... haha well i think everyone i have showed them to laugh at first then say "actually there really good" haha. so i will post some pics here for you to see them in all their glory

i really dont think i have anything else. do i? i downloaded the new "Cute Is What We Aim For" album and it seems alright. a few good songs but not as good as their first. i loved their first album. was truly amazing. Twin Atlantic this weekend... (sorry i just had to include them ) haha. but yea....

in the words of Twin Atlantic, "is there anybody out there?" and i mean it. where is everyone on my blogs? i see them all online i see them writing blogs and i comment on them so where are my friends?? are my blogs just not interesting anymore? do i talk to much about other things instead of games? do i mention Twin Atlantic to much?? (i think i do but there just so good ) or maybe im just not loved anymore?? i hope thats not the case. but anyway i will get to the end of this mystery. if people could tell me if they want to see a certain thing or if my blogs are boring these days then comment here i shall call is constructive critiscm
but i shall blog on. i have been playing Oblivion and i love it so much. i have been doing loads of side-quests and im trying to get into the Arcane University in the Imperial City its exciting times well if people know what im talking about it is. also been playing Rainbow Six Vegas 2 and me and 3 of my friends have started a clan and its looking good i have to say. great game and good fun. should really finish the story though..... nearly a officer in it so i can get the Officer acheivement i dont really care i just want to be a officer also every now and again i fire up Generals and beat some Chinese or GLA scum love it. thats the gaming news.
in other news i got my Red Skinny Jeans and Red T for Twin Atlantic. its looking awesome so i will post a pic on here for you all to see also my leg is finally better. still not 100% perfect but well enough to walk, jog and get a hit in badminton which is good news. dont really think i have anything else so i will leave on this note
