Some of you might remember my post about me getting a job as an animator at Zenimax Online. Well, things didn't work out, they ended up not hiring me unfortunately...for them. Fortunately, I landed a my first 3d animator gig at Conduit Labs (http://conduitlabs.com).
I start in January and can't wait!
Oh, and I'll still be reviewing games with Acegamez.com here and there. Hey, it's free games, I can't just walk away from that.

Some people have asked me privately about my character animation experience, so I'd like to explain my job title a little further.
As a character animator, it is my job to make character's in game actions. I take static models and give them life by determining their movements to be triggered by the game engine. Before these static models can even be animated, I must create the bone structure that determines the way arms, legs, etc. should bend.
I have not started my job at this new company yet, but it is very exciting to finally get my career kicked off. If you have any more questions about my job, the industry, or school, please ask.
You heard right. I've just got my first shot at being a game reviewer with AceGamez.com.
The staff is really cool, and the place is really well ran. These are actually voluntary reviews atm, but I do get to keep all the games I review. Since I have zero experience professionally reviewing I figured this this is a good way to get my foot in the door. So far I'm liking it though.
Right now I'm playing through Skies of Arcadia for the Game Cube. Since I saw they had missed this ****c in their reviewing lineup I just had to jump on it. The review will be up sometime next week. I'll let ya'll know (assuming people are reading this).
In the mean time you can take a look at my Brave Fencer Musashi Review here on GS! Click here.
