You should be able to play xbox games on the 360 without any problem. Maybe buy some new tv cables?

I did buy a new cable when I first got my Xbox 360 half a year after it launched, was a "VGA HD AV Cable", so I am not using the cable that I got with the xbox 360. I have used the vga cable all the time, because i've always thought I wouldn't get HD-quality with the cable that came with the 360. Am i wrong here?

The problem is the VGA HD AV cable. I get this message when I try to launch an xbox game; "The VGA HD AV Cable does not support the PAL-50 setting required by this game. Connect the composite connector of your cable or use an advanced SCART or Component HD AV Cable."

I did try the cable that came with the xbox 360 some time ago, but then I didn't get the HD quality I believe. Or the settings wasen't right.

Now I tried the cable that came with the Xbox 360. I didn't get the HD-quality. Or atleast not as good as the cable I bought seperatly. It certainly is the cable, therefore I hope the new update will make it possible for all cables to run/show old xbox games. I think I read that it would happen with the new update, or I might have misunderstood.

Note to everyone else having trouble with the VGA HD AV Cable, regarding the issue backwardcompability: This cable dosent support 50hz, and therefore will not be able to show any old xbox games!
