I watched it a couple nights ago. However, it was eclipsed by something even crazier that went on later after the movie. A friend of mine who was driving home ahead of me hit this huge ass deer and totally wiped away his windshield. I vividly remember seeing the deer flying through the air like a helicopter. ![]()
But now that I'm back to earth, I remember some of the stuff from the movie. The ratio is not so much the two or three scary scenes the movie actually had to anything else it broadcasted. It's more like the two or three scary scenes versus making fun of the rest of the movie. It was unintentionally funny. And the boyfriend is, at times, intentionally funny. But when it tries to be serious, the only thing my friends and I could do was find ways to laugh and joke about the script.
No, it wasn't a bad script; just very vulnerable to joking. There's only two main characters, both of which are portrayed with the first person camera angle. That makes you feel like you're actually apart of the movie, which incidently makes it funny. I know it sounds weird, but it really was difficult to take the movie seriously. That is... until the end, which was pretty freaky.
I would recommend it to anyone because, trying not to give too much away, it could happen to anyone.
What's next on my list? Maybe The Fourth Kind. Or The Men Who Stare At Goats. But I'm really looking forward to 2012 and Sherlock Holmes.

But I think Assassin's Creed II will be game of the year.
All you haters, stop hatin'.
Megan Fox was awesome in this movie, all around. She CAN act, and probably due to the horrid script from Transformers, her bad rap will only continue to lessen, assuming she winds up playing more roles down the road.
The movie itself was... Different. I feel like I've been saying that quite a bit lately for movies I've recently seen. Which is good, because I love unique movies. It was a little freaky. It was a little funny. It was portrayed in a realistic high school background sense. I can't tell you how many movies I've seen set up in high school... And it's nothing LIKE high school. This one actually felt believable.
There's a message in this movie--not gonna say what, but there is. If you watch it, don't expect a perfect film. Just have fun with it.
