Yeah it's been a while since I've posted anything serious on the site. My apologies. You know, things come up and get in the way, mostly, mainly, and foremost, a small PC game some of you may have heard about, WoW or World of Warcraft or warcrack depending on how you look at it I suppose. I know, I know. I said I quit...well I did, but as they say in the game, "No one quits, they simply take a break." So I guess my break was over and I was due to level my sickly epicced horde mage into the 80's and my tiny midget man gnome rogue as well. So yeah, WoW happened and my aspirations disappeared, the promised soundtrack review for 2008 fell through the cracks, and I gained some pounds sitting at my PC getting my game on. Sad day indeed.

So where does that leave us now? Well, I still have plans in the works good peoples of the world wide web! In fact, I just wrote a great review (In my opinion) for UFC Undisputed, so if you haven't pick it up and were thinking about it then check it out! Oh, and check this, this is 2nd time as a gamer I've totally flipped out and broke something while getting my game on:

R.I.P. original Elite controller. We conquered many a game and earned many an achievement but in the end you failed me when I needed you most!

Also, I totally scrapped my 2008 soundtrack top ten review I've been working on forever and ever it seems! But Saigo, we've been waiting forever to hear your connoisseur like review of such epic tracks! I know, I know! But I have something better and a lot less confining. Instead of coming out with a best of 08 more than half way through 2009, I'm going to do a little feature called, "Soundtracks you might have missed" with highlight tracks from game albums for all of you fans of game music out there. So that's on the horizon as well.

Finally, I'm working on a big massive soap box essay I lovingly call the "WoW Effect" about World of Warcraft and how addicting that madness is! It should be good since I know the topic quite well and it's been on my mind for some time. So stay tuned!
