Yeah, so the past couple of weeks have been been a combination of good and bad, excitement and disappointment, and a bunch of other emotions. My parents and my brother came up here during the weekend to come visit, which was awesome. I always love seeing my family as I don't get the chance to see them much anymore. We spent Friday and Saturday at the Wonderful World of Disney, which was tons of fun (especially since it didn't cost anything to get in.) We all went to breakfast on Sunday morning then they dropped me off at my apartment for the drive home. Since I was "sick" today and didn't have to go to work, I went to Universal Studios too where I rode the greatest new ride ever (Revenge of the Mummy) 3 times. Man is that an awesome ride. I also got my expensive Fossil watch fixed at the Fossil store on Universal property and went home. I put in for time off at the end of December to go on a family cruise (I am sure it will get denied but it doesn't hurt trying.) Why must Disney be so anal about approving time off? Is it really that hard to find ONE PERSON to take over my shift? But enough of the work related mumbo jumbo (had to throw the random Rare character reference in there somewhere.)

In the gaming side of things, I finally paid off my Halo 2 Limited Edition pre-order and will be at my local EB at midnight on November 9 to pick up the gaming goodness that is Halo 2. I also have to find the money for Prince of Persia: Warrior Within and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic: The Sith Lords, which are the sequels to the 2 best games of 2003. I just don't feel tempted to finish Fable for some reason. I bought it with such high anticipation but my anxiety wore off as I actually played the game. I don't know if I will ever finish it. So my plans for this week are pretty much the same as they are every week except this week, I have to stop by Target and buy a table and a room lamp (and maybe a vacuum to clean up my room, its looking pretty nasty.)

P.S. If you can think of a good catchy name for my journal, let me know.

Ok, so maybe Fable didn't get a AAA score but does that matter in the end? Not one bit. Splinter Cell got the same score as Fable and I enjoyed that game a lot (it was my personal GOTY of 2002.) I know I am going to enjoy Fable immensely. As for this other problem I am facing, Hurricane Frances. Its going to be fun to get to ride out my 2nd storm (Andrew in 1992 being the first.) I am expecting the worst but hoping for the best.
Some people just don't have opinions. Like -OmegaKnight-.
-OmegaKnight- must really love MovieTome and agree with every review we've ever written! What other reason could -OmegaKnight- possibly have for not rating a single film?
