The End of Spring Break...... :(

Ahhhh so I can't believe today's the last day of spring break, if Sunday even counts, ugh. Well the first half of it was definitely better than the second half, I went to the UK, England for 4 days (sadly it was short but I went with my parents and they both had to work..... we did a lot in a really short time though, taking their tours) it was nice for the short time it lasted. I didn't go into either of the palaces but walked around both Kensington and Buckingham Palace, taking in the scenery and seeing the many gardens that princess Diana had and even taking pictures at her memorial fountain, it was amazing getting to check out some of the world's greatest history, I just wish it could have been longer.... I've been back since Tuesday and all I've wished was that I was back there, jetlagged and all. Buckingham Palace wasn't too bad but we weren't allowed in past the fence due to the Queen being home. I did get to see some of the guards though, amazing how completely still they really stand, you always see it on television but it's funny up close, reminded me of Mr. Bean. I also got to actually walk on London Bridge so that was cool, (in the words of Fergie "my London London bridge wanna go down like London London London!") and I also took picture of the tower bridge and the remade globe theatre (these are just some of the pics off the top of my head, I took like a whole lot more of every place I went to during the tour on the double Decker bus. I also got this really neat April Edition of the Marie Claire magazine with Blake Lively on the front she is sooooo gorgeous.... If only I wasn't gay oh my God I'd die to be with her!!!! It was really neat getting to take the Tube, their underground train station, it's amazing how that's pretty much everyone's means of transportation though many of them have vehicles as well. Albert Hall was pretty cool though I didn't go inside and more or less just took some pics in front of it. We also took a boat ride around and got to see some neat sites and learn some more history of the place though we couldn't stop anywhere since it was late and we'd miss our last bus back to our hotel. I wish I was there this weekend for their gay and lesbian film festival that would have been a treat to attend. Ugh what pissed me off on the way back, in the airport, is that my dad left all our post cards and tea unattended on accident and had them taken away. At least, I've got photos, video footage and lots and lots of Key Chain's lol.

Anyways so I got back on St. Patty's day and I was too tired to really enjoy it and do anything on it though I had a friend who really wanted to get wasted and my sis wanted me to go out with her and her friends but I just went to bed and readjusted myself to the time change. So there are still plenty of shows I need to catch up on like The Simpsons and Degrassi... I think maybe even a Gossip Girl, I'll have to see. I don't think there were any new Heroes episodes or House but I'll probably check to be sure as well.

So I finally watched the movie Slumdog Millionaire, well on the plane actually, and it was so amazing I found it really moving and really sad I became teary eyed surprisingly and had to turn my head away lol. The soundtrack is so awesome I heard good things about the musical score, I think it actually might have won an Oscar for it or was definitely at least nominated.... I need to go out and purchase it, I love all the songs especially the MIA Paper Planes mix. Yesterday I just watched I Am Legend for the first time; it was pretty brilliant I should have checked it out a long time ago. I also watched First Daughter; anything with Katie Holmes pre-Tom is definitely worth my time.

So I could write more but I need to get some things done and this is long enough, I also need to finish up some assignments due tomorrow, "And the procrastination award goes to..." So there was this guy I met, I started to like, fell for him mutually and then we never worked out, and now he won't talk to me. Story of my life.... So anyways, I'm going to go check out my cousins from connecticut who are visiting (it's actually my cousin Tessa's first time seeing Canada hopefully she likes what she sees).

Later,

"No one on the corner has swagger like us!"
