According to a new listing over at Xbox.com for an upcoming Skate 2 Download & Win contest, a demo of the game should be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace by January 8th.
You can score some great prizes in the Skate 2 Download & Win Sweepstakes, with six custom Skate 2 decks up for grabs as the Grand Prize. All you have to do is register your gamertag and download the FREE Skate 2 demo from Marketplace to enter.
The contest is set to run between January 8th and January 15th with 50 prizes up for grabs including a custom Skate 2 deck and 4000 MS Points for first place. We'll let you know exactly when the demo hits as I will be all over this. Check out the contest page for more details.
Over the weekend, we got a sneak peek of what some of the visual effects in Terminator Salvation will look like. I think it's important that they don't go too advanced, because, after all, TerminatorSalvation happens before the critical event in each of the three previous films. That critical event is the deployment of a Terminator to stop John Connor.
So while each Terminator was presumably more powerful as the first trilogy progressed, the events in the new movie take place before the T-800 . So it's actually got to be a little more lower rent than you might expect.
I think Martin Laing and the creative team have done a great job with their concepts for the next movie, based on this concept art, which you can get almost anywhere now; we picked it up at Geek Tyrant.
