I'll start with the England game, though I only caught the last 45 minutes of this, I was impressed with what I saw. The first half from what I could tell, was, well a bit of a let down to say the least. We conceded two goals that were frankly sloppy give-aways, and when playing a team like the Dutch (currently 3rd best in the world by FIFA rankings) just foolish really. Fabio Capello's excuse was 'pre-season' which may be excusable but we are talking about players who should know better. Second half saw Jermain Defoe replace Emile Heskey, best swap of the night, he scored 2 goals in the end and could of had more. The last half, the Dutch were pretty bad, although they were still a threat. Overall a promising match, with the positives being the way we came back to even the score after going 2 down. We need to play a hell of a lot better to win the world cup in 2010 though.
2-2 final score, England should have won in the end.
Onto the Scotland-Norway game and although I didn't watch it I was disappointed with the score. I will always cheer for Scotland after England, but it was a thrashing that Norway gave to the Scots. Unfortunately this was a world cup qualifier, meaning Norway now are back in contention of taking away Scotlands place.
4-0 final score, with Norway the victors.

We were dismal.
They were mediocre
The ref was appaling.
All in all, it made for a terrible game to watch, and a terrible result for us.
I never saw the England game, but I'm shocked Emile Heskey is still playing and can make the team.
