Damn it! I paid £10 for the same CD from HMV.

Still, Candlemass are amazing, as is the Nightfall album. I can't wait to see them at Bloodstock But they only get 40 minutes...

The bonus disc gives you demos of Bewitched and Battlecry, as well as some live tracks like The Well of Souls and a 20 minute interview in English. It must be an old one 'cos Messiah is still in the band.


You got a good deal there, and I wish you all the best listening to it. Perhaps not on a Sunday morning, that's a bit heavy.

@Denny_Carmassi - Did you buy it in the shop or online? I find it's usually cheaper to buy music online. I shall look forward to hearing that interview, and it is a good deal, they also have others like Epicus Doomicus Metallicus and Ancient Dreams for a fiver on play if your interested.

I had gone there with the intention to purchase a Gamma Ray live album and walked out with Candlemass...still, it could've been stranger, I could have bought a Sunn O))) album

I think it's quite outrageous that HMV will charge less for CDs online than they do in their actual stores. And I know I'm not alone in that sentiment. I don't have bottomless pockets, and normally I'll have less than a tenner allocated to purchase a CD, and HMV seem to price a lot of stuff at £16...Thank god for Amazon!

Candlemass are great. I don't really like Messiah's vocals though.

Nightfall is probably the best record ever. One of those albums that's easy to re-purchase. Tough luck, iv never actually cracked a CD before I tend to scratch and spill alchohol on them a lot though

@Cbok - Yeah it's a great album, I sometimes scratch cd's too, but never spilt alcohol on them

@Rikardur - They are a band that I found gradually grew on me, I usually prefer my doom to have atmosphere and kind of depressing if you know what I mean
