What makes me feel that GameSpot is not a place for me anymore?

Oh, hi there readers. Long time no blogging.

I'm soon to experience the two most painful weeks of my lfie so far. School finishing exams by which will depend my future at university. I hope to take IT course (as my presumed exam grades will be enough for that) but eh, life will tell. So yes, this is basically why I do not post at the unions for quite some time as well as your blogs. Studying takes all the free time and I soo hate that.

Now to my blog topic. Why I don't feel like at home here? Well that's mainly because that everyone here have current gen systems and I don't. All the news are about XBox 360, PS3 and Wii and I have neither so there is no point following them. I hope to buy PS3 and refresh my gaming experience a bit but I'm not ready yet. I just don't feel like this is the time yet.

Not sure if everything stated here is clear but well, fair enough.

Oh, if anyone here is interested in anime and didn't found himself / herself a community yet - feel free to join www.aninma.com. We are new but I think quite fast growing community and we appreaciate every new member. There is a little bit more of me there.

Dude, don't mind not having next gen system, I don't have any of the three so I just usually go to the Legacy Platforms, I play Persona 3 and I'm proud.
That's the way it should be.

It`s ok to knot have the latest gen systems. Still can have lotsa fun with the ps2.

I hope you go good on your studying tasks and exams. I'm just like you. Damn busy to things. (If you take a look at my GSBlog you may notice that.) And no time for gaming and so on but for now I don't want to give up showing up around here. Maybe you need to tak a rest or maybe you really need to study so hard but this society is all fun. I don't have any console like you and it's because I don't like consoles and I agree with you that so many news and updates are available for consoles and not for PCs but I think I'll stay around for now. Wish you luck!

Yeah without keeping up with current systems mainstream sites are not the best to go to. I myself have been coming around less lately. Partly just because I havn't been in the mood and partly because every time I come around posting on GameSpots message board feels more like 1930's Nazi occupied Poland and less like an open discussion of video games.

I can't afford new consoles so I console (huh, a pun) myself with buying older games. I just bought Silent Hill 2 for $13 with shipping and I had a blast. I see where you're coming from and I hope the fact that you don't own any next-gen consoles doesn't prevent you from returning to GS; just so you know, games are still made for PS2--perfect example is Alone in the Dark. I think its pro's out-weigh its con's and the news that it gives is reliable.

Don't feel alone I have a PS2 and feel the same way that the PS3 is taking over as for the X-box 360 it can die. I hope to get a PS3 or a Wii.

I still pick up games for my XBOX and play some SNES and GENESIS games out of Nostalgia. Did you ever play Kid Chameleon for the Genesis?
