I had a Playstation and Playstation 2 in addition to the Nintendo consoles in those generations. I've always gotten the Nintendo console first, but if someone else can give me sufficient reason to buy their console, I'll go for it. No sense in depriving yourself of good gaming.

My loyalty will always be Nintendo first, but one would be depriving themselves of some good games with just a Wii this gen. I also got a 360 and think it's great. Resident Evil 5 and GTA IV are a must for me in '08. You should check out Eternal Sonata and Blue Dragon if you like rpg's, and Bioshock is terrific.

If you like RPGs, Mass Effect is also a very worthy addition.

If it works for a 360, don't forget to pick up Mortal Kombat Deception.

I actually rented Mortal Kombat Deception for GC a while back. It wasn't amazing (the story mode was blah) but two-player fighting is always fun.

I want a 360 to play Halo 3, Bioshock and the OJ Box. It'll have to wait until after Brawl before I can make a big purchase though
