Why does everyone hate Nintendo and their fans?

I cannot count the number of times I've seen "pathetic sheep," "ignorant sheep," "stupid sheep," etc.

I know a lot of these gamers are just fanboys, but I'd like to hear what you guys think. I mean, I rarely see any arrogance or insults to other systems on our part, but the name-calling continues.
