- Prior to the start of filming for The Beautiful Life, she agreed to have her ears pierced for the first time in her life. She had them done especially so that she could, when required for scenes such as fashion shows, wear the same type of pierced earrings as the other female cast members also playing models.
- Mischa was arrested on December 27, 2007 for suspicion of driving under the influence, possession of marijuana and a controlled substance as well as driving without a valid license.
- In February 2007, Mischa crashed Nicole Richie's car. After dropping Nicole off at a tanning salon, Mischa bumped Nicole's car into another. Mischa exchanged insurance details with the couple in the other car, before quickly moving on.
- In August 2006, Mischa went on a trip to Australia as the guest of honor at the David Jones Tahitian Summer Collection launch.
