Navin Chowdhry was born in Bristol, England in 1971. He made his acting debut in a film called Madame Sousatzka in 1988 along side Shabana Azmi and Shirley MacLaine.
Navin is well known for his role as I.T teacher Kurt McKenna in the hit comedy series Teachers in which he was in from 2001 - 2003. He's known for his recurring role in Dalziel and Pascoe in which he played PC Sanjay Singh. He also guest stared in Doctor Who back in 2005 when Christopher Eccleston was playing the role of the doctor.
Navin starred in the new BBC3 comedy, drama Sinchronicity, in which he plays the role of Mani a gay Doctor who's in a complicated relationship with another character (Jase).
