I absolutely love his work. Liar Liar, The Truman Show, Batman Forever, Bruce Almighty and Ace Ventura are some of my favourite movies. His acting is funny, and I also love his stand up comedy work, too.
I think his roles in more serious films can be good, too, such as Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind and Man On The Moon.
He may not be the greatest actor who ever lived, but I find his work thoroughly enjoyable, and can't wait for his next film.

Could I make 100 words about him, yes but I won't. He was hilarious in Lair Lair, The Mask, Batman(As the Riddler). He played a more serious character in the movie: The Number 23. How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Having Fun with Dick & Jane. It all started with Lair Lair. He is just a good actor, though, I have yet to see, Yes Man. How can I forget about Dumb & Dumber. Just flat-out funny. I also need to watch Ace Ventura, since I don't remember. I would like to see him play a villian in any movie. Anyways, just a talented, funny actor.

Comedy stylings come in many variations. There's the deadpan delivery of Stephen Wright. Many loved the foul-mouthed, thought provoking rants of George Carlin and Richard Pryor. Others are drawn to the wry, sardonic, observational humor of Jerry Seinfeld. For physical humor, Jim Carrey ranks among the best in his genre. His style of comedy ranks him in such company as Laurel and Hardy, Rowan Atkinson, John Ritter, The Three Stooges and Chris Farley to name but a few. His ability to contort his face into his alternate stage personas is uncanny and his skill at slapstick is undeniable. It may not be everyone's personal taste, but for those who appreciate it, he is one of the best.

...The Cable Guy!! Yes, you heard me. I did not like that movie at all. Jim Carrey...Like Matt Daemon tends to play the bad guy or villain in some way or another. I know he's supposed to be funny, but really? What is so funny about a guy (Jim Carrey) beating up another guy (Whoever was supposed to be his "friend" on the movie). In Good Will Hunting, Matt Daemon beat someone up. That still gets to me. Also, in one of the earlier Batman movies, Jim Carrey plays The Riddler...One of Batman's arch-enemies. If this is not enough to prove why old-man Jim should retire and try...Well...Writing his own comedy where he is the good guy like Frasier for a change...Unless he already has or had one...Drama Storm OUT.

Beforce their first popular movie the had shows right before them. Tim Allen had Home Improvement as Tim Tayor known as Tim the Tool Man Tayor. And for Jim Carrey, He had Living Color as himself in alot of Disguises Characters. Okay, What i mean is for Tim Allen & Jim Carrey started out in the same year together into their popular career Movies! Tim Allen have The Santa Clause in 1994 as Scott Calvin known as Santa Claus. And for Jim Carrey, He have Ace Ventura in 1994 as Ace Venture known as a Pet Detective.

I love this man so much (no, not literally). Some of my all time favorite movies star him, like Dumb and Dumber, The Mask, Liar Liar, Bruce Almighty, and The Grinch. There are so many more movies starring him that I love, but I don't want to list them all. Let's see: if there are two words to describe him, I would say probably COMEDIC GENIUS. I think lots of people will agree with me on that. He just has so much talent it's hard to explain. He is just hilarious, every movie he's in always turns out to be side splitting, with the exception of Eternal Moonshine, which is more of a drama than comedy. But you know what? Speaking of Eternal Moonshine, who knew Carrey could achieve a drama?! Wow. That tells me straight out that he's excellent playing serious characters AND funny characters. Totally amazing. This actor just blows my mind.

He is able to play so many characters with so many different voices. A few of my fav. movies that he has been in were Bruce Almighty, The Truman Show, and Liar Liar. a famous movie he was in was A series of Unfortunate Events where he played A crazy man. He is one of the most talented actors in show biz!
